Kudos to the designer of these sneakers
Kudos to the designer of these sneakers....best fitting sneaker I've ever wore...Now 70yrs old I put many hours and stress on my shoes with years of running and hiking in the White Mtns of NH...these sneakers offer the best support for arch, heel, and forefoot...wider at the toes and provide superb support...hope they last as good as they feel but so far so good...

Meets Most Walking Shoe Requirements
The professional race-walking class teacher I have recommends that students buy walking shoes one size larger than their normal size. There should be enough room in the shoes for your toes to spread and for moisture-wicking socks to function according to her teachings. When ordering these Walk-Hero shoes, I was hesitant to go up a whole size, so I only went up a half size, in my case men’s US size 10½.It worked! The half-size increase provided enough room for my toes to wiggle and spread out. And there is room in the front of the shoe that leaves my toes unrestricted.I appreciate Walk-Hero’s plantar fasciitis focus as I have flat feet that are wide in the metatarsal area and narrow in the heel. These shoes accommodated both. Also, I found their arch comfortable; they’re not flat nor too high. The only negative I noticed was a lack of cushioning in the metatarsal area, something particularly evident with the right shoe. Being easily corrected with insoles, I don’t consider this a serious enough issue to negate all the favorable features I’ve previously highlighted. Despite my one concern, everything else about these shoes meets my race-walking teacher’s shoe criteria. They’re comfortable, provide sufficient room for my toes to spread, and their heels hold fast to my feet without slippage.

Underperformer
I ordered these shoes because of my issue with plantar fasciitis and had hopes they would provide some temporary relief while going through physical therapy. I was needing a comfortable shoe, with good arch support; also, heel padding that would cushion heel impact during normal walking. Essentially a shoe that would perform better than the average tennis shoe and not further inflame the plantar fascia. I was very disappointed in that respect. My first impression when I started to put the shoes on was how narrow they were (should have ordered a half-size larger), but before I could get my ailing foot into the first shoe, I noticed the heel pull tab/loop (for pulling the shoe over your heel) was not large enough to slip my finger into and pull. If something that basic is flawed, then what else could be wrong? Well, as it turns out, the arch support was lacking (only supporting a narrow area on the inside of the arch on either foot), but more importantly, the heel cushions were not any better than my old tennis shoes and only slightly better than my two year old work boots. The shoes were not entirely uncomfortable, but being advertised as 'orthopedic sneakers' implies there should be some basic orthopedic function or noticeable feature that would contribute to comfort and/or correction.I wanted these to work, but unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations.

I have flat feet, ( I am 83 years old) and this is the first shoe I have found that fits perfectly. I plan to purchase another pair.
