This works great. But. Directions.. not really. Get familiar with the machine. It does have a diagram on how to take apart. Do that BEFORE you use it. Also, order so good pipe cleaners. Not the cheapy craft kind. You will want these to clean it ! I make body butter and this works great for filling all size of jars! I was concerned it wouldn't push it through, but it does. If you put the little dial so the arrow is at the bottom it allows the opening to be larger. This works for thicker products. When you take apart to clean. Use caution and the metal plunger has 2 rings. 1 is plastic and 1 is metal. It can be easy to lose if you are not paying attention, so don't do this at your sink! There is a spring that goes around a rod in the piece that faces towards you. That comes conpletly out for cleaning and that's where you will need the pipe cleaners!

I spent so much time researching these filling machines. I purchased one other one and it showed up broken. I returned it. I the purchased this one even though some reviews mentioned leaking. I felt it was my best bet. Well, it is disgusting. It showed up dented but packaged as a finished fully inspected product. I cleaned it out and spotted some rust: I felt that was odd. Made a batch of expensive perfume oils and body oils. Once finished I looked at my products and they were disgusting. Floated specks of stuff everywhere! I wasted hundreds in materials. I fully disassembled the machines and discovered so much junk and the metal is not debuted. It’s a foolish machine. Skip Amazon and research and invest in a legit filling machine. This did NOT save me time. It also continuously leaks and you can never fully release all of the product. You have to unscrew the hopper and let the excess oil that won’t come out basically spill everywhere: the only way this would be useful is if you never have to changed the contents and are able to leave that small remaining ounce or two in the unseen part of the machine at all times between batches. Even then, you need to have something under the nozzle for it to leak for the next couple of days.

This filling machine has a lot of advantages and very few disadvantages. Amongst its advantages are the fact that it is easy to fill, relatively easy to clean, made out of high-quality materials, and simply does the job.Some of the disadvantages are the lack of a variety of spouts to accommodate different viscosity of liquids being filled, and a shelf, simply too short to accommodate bottles without tipping over. I would also like to point out that one has to experiment a lot with filling quantities, because the Quantities on the side of the filler are pretty accurate.

Would have given it 5 stars if the clean up wasn't such a messy ordeal, you have completely break it down ( can't just run some hot soapy water thru it, as there is wasted product that collects in the area that the hopper sets down in ). I used it to fill lotion bottles and maybe a thinner liquid wouldn't require such a breakdown to get it clean and sanitized. Also the hopper will not fit in a regular dishwasher, it's to tall. Other then this it does what it is suppose to do and saves times filling large amounts of containers.

Worse machine ever a waste of money ! Then you can’t exchange or return it because that window is short for returns , I brought this for my hair growth oil the first time I used it I did maybe 5 bottles and while I’m using it it’s leaking I have to hurry up and place another bottle underneath so my products won’t waste it came to a week of me using it and my products started leaking faster and more leaving the products to waste everywhere the next day a waste ! DO NOT BUY!

I should have purchased this item a long time ago. Filling hair growth oils has never been so easy. The machine was easy to use and clean up wasn’t troublesome.
