Great price and quality
I ordered these for Muay Thai. Got the youth/XS (for reference I am 5’0 and 115lbs), and they fit perfectly. Makes sparring and bag practice much more comfortable. I found these easy to wash, threw them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and let them lay flat to air dry. Will definitely buy again once I need more!

So far, these are great, just what we need.
My three boys 11, 10, and 9 just started Muay Thai recently, so I bought them each a set of these to start out. I constantly see kids struggling to keep their guards adjusted that Velcro in the back, and I wanted them to learn their basic moves and proper form without that concern. These are well made, the smallest size fit them all comfortably, however they are taller for their size and none of them have those spindly legs I see on some kiddos without muscle. They also don't carry around extra weight. They play sports, skateboard, and bike, and are on a trampoline constantly, so I can't attest to how these would fit a very thin leg for youths or a leg for a youth looking to lose weight in martial arts. They all commented on the comfort, and they hit all their legs in nice spots, while also covering their feet well. I think these are a phenomenal purchase for anyone casually into this sport, just starting and not yet competing, kickboxing classes, or who need the flexibility for grappling. The size chart worked very well for us! When these three start competitions I will likely get them some heavier duty guards that block the knee caps and provide a bit more coverage and critical protection when things get nasty in the ring. For sparring with like minded people and bag workouts, they should be great.Meister shipped ultra fast! I cannot stress the efficiency in their shipping and everything came brand new, packed very well, and we are going to be placing more orders with them for sure. I am snagging some hand wraps as I type this. As with every sport I believe there are the typical commercial brands that people end up with, but may actually lack quality. Then you have the big name brands who have both, the personal favorite brands of gyms and trainers who "swear" by only certain brands, and the companies who have steadily been making great products for great prices, but aren't involved in all the hype. Wherever you like to fall in those categories, or a mix of it all, take it with a grain of salt, and shop savvy with sports gear. Meister is a fantastic way to do that for many options in this area. We will be happy to keep supporting this company and including their gear in the lineup. price seems well worth the quality! If they don't hold up or underperform I will adjust the review and the rating.

It was good until this happened...
It was good. Comfortable, good price, like the simple (er than other brands) design, washable, nice padding, and it does its job. After a week of using these, I washed once I even placed the guards in a washing bags, and the rubber came out. Lol I might buy for a better shin guards I guess...! Smh

Good Protection!
I recently bought these shin guards for my MMA training, and they've been a game-changer. I love doing MMA for cardio, but I bruise easily, so these shin guards have been essential. They work perfectly for kicking pads with my trainer or hitting the bag, giving me protection and reducing the impact on my shins. The fit is comfortable and secure, allowing me to move freely without any slipping or discomfort. They've really helped me enjoy training more, and be a bit more confident, knowing I'm not going to get bruises/ injuries from a simple kick. So if you are prone to bruising, need protection from sparring, or just don't like the feeling of pads on your shin, these guards are a must-have.

If you have big calves, read this!
They seem pretty decent quality, but the sizing chart should include the calf width. I have pretty big calves if I'm being honest, but I went with the shin length in the sizing chart because It claimed to be the most accurate so I went with a medium/small since I'm 5'6 and my shin length met the size on the chart. They're really tight around the part with the velcro strap, so if you have bigger than average calves, just take note. If it were to fit me, it would probably be a phenomenal item.

Great so far at the gym
These definitely reduced the pain and actually making me stronger when I kick. I still have some bruising but the impact is not right on my shins. I’m at 9 Round for 75-90 mins each day so the workout takes its toll. The Velcro is kind of cheap and may break off in the future and I probably would not wash these but they make a huge difference. You can’t wear shoes with these but I stopped wearing shoes at my workout. I have better flex without the shoe and can do a front kick, shin kick, side kick better with these pads.I’d recommend to try them out.

Great LIGHT WEIGHT shin guards for MMA training!
Love these! For reference I am a female, 5’7 in height, 135 pounds, and I ordered the S/M in red. They are very light weight (which I like) and they come up to about 2 inches below my knee cap covering my shins. The padding is not as thick as most shins guards, so if you looking for a thick, super protective shin guard these are not for you. However, I am an MMA fighter and I prefer a lighter padding so that my shins still take a little impact. They’re lightweight plus they fit very snug on me so they don’t move around near as much as ones with Velcro straps! My foot is a size 7.5 and the padding over my foot doesn’t completely cover my toes, but that’s not a huge issue. For another reference, my boyfriend is 6’0 ft tall and he has the white ones (pictured) in L/XL, and those come up right below my knee cap. We train and spar in these everyday, so overall they are great shin guards!!
