Repair Required Red Tags with Wire Maintenance Out of Service Tag Pack of 25

I live in an apartment and got these to help the repair people spot where the problem is.The tags are bright red and large. They seem to be heavy cardstock with some kind of plastic coating that repels water. The front says "REPAIR REQUIRED" in large letters ("REPAIR" is 3/8 inch/10 mm high, "REQUIRED" is 1/4 inch/7 mm high). The letters are the same red as the tag, in a black rectangle. Below that is "Problem" with 5 lines to fill in a description, with a large blank space below if you need more room to write. At the bottom, there are lines for "Signed" and "Date." The back side is blank; it has water repellent coating and can be written on, same as the front.Ball point pen writes easily on the surface; gel pen and Sharpie(TM) markers write easily and, after about 30 seconds to dry, don't smear. Pencil writes but is too faint to show against the vivid red color.The two wires to attach the tag are each about 5 inches/13 cm long and are very thin and flexible, strong enough to attach the tag securely and very flexible so it's easy to wind them around anything. The hole that the wires go through is reinforced. It stayed firmly attached when I wrapped the wires around a cabinet handle and twisted them together, then yanked hard on the tag. I believe these tags would work well in a more industrial environment too -- they're large and bright, let you specify the defect, and alert people to the defect.I request repairs in batches, and these tags will make it a lot easier for the repair person. I plan to specify in my repair request how many tags there are ("2 plumbing in the kitchen" etc,) so the repair person can tell whether they've found them all, and they won't have to check their list to see what needs to be done. I'm very happy with these tags.

I really like these red tags for my shop. The tag itself is sturdy and easy to write on. I really appreciate the fact that there is space to write the problem of the equipment on the tag. The tag attaches by twisting the 2 wires together. They are priced about the same as other tags. They are working well in the shop, would re-order these in the future.
