Foam Base Ten Blocks for Place Value, Early Counting, Manipulatives, Counters, Cubes - Kids Math Learning Tool

This is what I have used as a kid to learn math and I bought it for my kids, too. It is light, nice colors and good storage. It just smells like foam normally does. Other than that it is a nice product.

Purchased these for homeschool and they are perfect. The single block is very small, so if you have babies in then home, beware. They are a chocking hazard.

This is a great set. I just wish they were a hard plastic and not smelly foam.

I like this little box, and it has come in so handy for my first grader's math problem, however, it has such a strong chemical smell, it triggers my migraines. I have tried to air them out & put them under the sun, but nothing has helped.

These blocks are fine, completely serve their purpose in our homeschool math curriculum.The top to the box that they came in is broken unfortunately. This probably occurred during shipping but, the plastic material of the container is very flimsy.The blocks have a horrible smell, I hope it'll go away as they air out. The blocks are soft foam, and will probably not stand the test of time around childrenOverall I would recommend finding a different product.

as a homeschooling mom of 3, i'm always looking for resources to help in teaching, and this kit is wonderful. math is never the easiest subject, so anything helps! this definitely helped my kids, who are more visual learners, grab the concepts of math easier. it comes with everything listed, and the material is a nice light foam.

A little smelly at first, as others have noted, but it will pass. This is a fun way to experiment with numbers in the form of 3D shapes. The yellow cubes are a little small but perhaps the smell is also a good deterrent. As our daughter tries to do more and more with numbers, this is a great way to visualize... when you run out of fingers and toes!

Kids were very excited for this but upon opening the chemical smell was so bad… I know it is synthetic material but maybe needs better ventilation before packaging?
