Great stripper for round cable.
I use a lot of Hi-Tuff and bought this last year to see if it might make life easier when working with cheaper cable. Not sure why I didn't know about these before then, but it makes life much easier.One small drawback I'd highlight about this particular stripper is the adjustment screw, which protrudes quite a bit and can adjust itself while bouncing about in a leg pocket. I notice that some other brands don't protrude quite so much, but it's a minor niggle.

Nice idea but useless.
The cutter blade was not in a fixed position so it kept turning while cutting the insulation. The result was a spiral of cuts instead of a circle.I sent it back.

Works amazingly.
I’m always stripping wires to make receptacles for sets. I’ve struggled with the heavy shop cables. This works great. I set it and it cots and splits the cables without the struggle I’ve been enduring. NO MORE STRUGGLES thank you.

Muy buena herramienta, no cabe duda que hice una buena compra, la uso para pelar multiconductores y sin batallar, he usado otras marcas y en definitiva me quedo con esta marca en particular, el cuerpo esas robusto y se adapta mejor a la mano, al contrario de otras marcas que he usado.Si eres electricista conexionista aquí en México, te será de gran utilidad para aminorar los tiempos de conexiones, tener un mejor desempeño y verte más profesional.

works better than expected.
i used one of these 20 years ago made by ideal. it was a good tool but often broke the blade and was hard to adjust correctly. I use this everyday on everything from 3c to 19c . I have yet to have it strip pass the outer jacket and ruin the wire. This tool is made with quality considering its plastic. I purchased this for several of my coworkers who all were impressed with its performance.
