It's ok, it does the job for macro of course it's a cheap alternative to a macro lens, I have an Olympus Epl2 and adding this accessory I have been able to get closer to the subject,of course I set the camera to manual focus to get the shot, and yes it is tricky depending on your subject, I haven't tried it too extensively though, I don't know about other alternatives there might be on the market...It required signature on delivery which I don't like but it's ok I guess and all the parts were there in their respective bags.

This may either get changed to five star or one star. I'm not sure I've figured these out to their full potential yet but if I have, not sure they are positive difference makers. In fairness, I haven't worked with them enough to know if I'm using them properly. Some instructions would help!!

Unfortunatelly, the wide angle 0.43x with the M. Zuiko 14-42mm kit objective sold with E-PL5 doesn't work as it should be. The focus is wery slow and sometimes it looses the focus and what is more embarassing, with the lens wide open (14mm) the xit lens produces vigneting, the whole image is round. You can get off of this by zooming to 21mm but you loose what is more important:the wide angle. The macro works fine, the tele 2.2x it's ok but with slow focus, and not very important for a 42mm focal lenght. As a general impression the wide angle is useless, waste of money. Maybe for other lenses works fine but not for Zuiko 14-42mm sold with the E-PL5 as advertised.

On E-PM2 focus not working correctly with the lenses. Construction looks ok. Fit well on 14-42 mm standard lens.

item arrived as mentioned but wide angle lens conversion still have room for improvement. good price though.

Used it this weekend to take photos at a park this weekend. It was great for getting closeups of tiny flowers without hurting my back by bending into a pretzel.

There things were great with great cases and great adapters. Seriously excellent and well made products.
