as cigar smokers know, buying a lighter is almost always a pain as we all know people that have purchased lighters only to complain when they don't work. It's happened to me as well. We take it for granted that it will work first time- every time. there is maintenance that has to be done on every lighter. For those that purchase a lighter & it doesn't work first time, or fails in a relatively short time, you obviously want your money back or at least an exchange for a new lighter. I received this lighter yesterday; it was 75% charged. I went to my cigar lounge, filled it, & it works beautifully. I lent it to 3 other people to use to light their cigars, and they were impressed. Wishing those who bought one the best of luck with it!

The electronic ignition is very reliable and quiet. It holds a generous amount of fuel and doesn't get hot in the hand, either. It contains a rechargeable battery and will not light when it runs out of charge. Much better than any other torch lighter I have ever used, with some costing double or triple the price of this lighter, and those expensive lighters usually don't last long. This lighter lasts and is high quality in every way, Just be careful to close the lid on the lighter before setting it down, the flame stays on until you close the lid. I use 14x refined butane in my lighter. The universal tip never works well on this lighter, and you lose more butane than the lighter contains when trying to fill it. In order getting a proper fill you must find the appropriate plastic adapter out of the adapters that come with most cans of butane, once you find the right on filling the lighter is a breeze.

I received this Prado lighter in June 2023 and now it doesn't work - I keep putting fluid in I go to start the lighter and all the fluid flows out - I've done this several times and it won't retain fluid - there is no way to contact the seller or the manufacturer - no info provided within the box that the item was received in - very disappointed and I wish there was a way to contact the seller or manufacturer

I absolutely love this lighter. The combination of electric and butane is brilliant. Very easy to use. When you flip the top open, the gas starts flowing, and you just press the button once (don’t have to keep holding it). The not having to keep holding any buttons is the best feature. Flip/press and you have a very nice bluish flame that stays on. Battery lasts a very long time since it’s just a momentary spark to ignite the gas. The reason why I took one star off is because the 1st one I got died within ~3 weeks or so. However, seller came through immediately and sent replacement no hassle. Excellent product and excellent seller.

Did not work.

I had mine in my pocket and got stuck out in rain. After that it was done for. Won't take a charge Won't spark and becomes trash even if you put it in a container of rice. To draw out the water. One it's wet it's junk.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m a lighter collector and the last couple years lighters have made a big change. I’m talking about the rechargeable electronic ignition! I love this new feature! Its reliable, quick and easy to use without hesitation. Beats the old electronic pizzo that gives you a click click click and maybe a dozen more clicks before it lights. The only down fall these lighters have are… if you drop it there’s a chance the computer board inside will suffer damage and won’t work! So taking care of your lighter is a must do. I’ve actually put a leash on a couple of mine cause accidents come natural! All in all this lighter is very nice. Good weight, opens with ease, lights on demand, closes promptly, and whats best is the fuel window lights up so you can see when your getting low on butane! Its the first lighter out there that has this feature! Well… Happy Lighting!!!
