My son weighs about 17 pounds and these diapers worked just fine on him. I put them on under swim pants. I didn't notice any major leaks but one time I did notice his swimsuit smelled like pee got on them. All swim diapers will leak a little because they are made not to inflate in water. They are made to be put on right before the child goes swimming and taken off right after they get out.

These are great! I started swimming with my baby when he was 5 months and have been using these the whole time. They stay watertight and fit really well. He never seems to have any redness or rubbing and is still free to move around without any pulling or the Velcro coming loose. In fact, they feature a double layer of Velcro to keep them closed and then secure them. In fact, if he hasn't 'made his own liquid', I've often taken them off and the seat is still dry--even after an extended session in the pool. I love the bright characters, too and while they are nicely padded and absorb the stuff they need to without leaking (thank goodness because we have an apartment pool), they're not too bulky to go under swim shorts.

This is a good diaper. I purchased these for my 3 month old (12 pounds) because for some reason it is really hard to find diapers for babies under 16 pounds. This fit him fine, though. If you have a 10-12 pound baby you can purchase and use these. It might help to use a swim suit on top of them just in case. They can be pulled up like pants or they also open on the sides and you can tighten them up a bit that way. They get the job done and don't leak.

We've used these twice now for my 6 month old son and they have worked GREAT in the pool. They're comfortable and stay on perfectly. They don't get weighed down and the patterns are really cute.

Bought these so I could take my 5month old swimming for the first time. Worked like a diaper should. Size was great. No issues. Will buy again.

Does a great job for my 7 month old's swim time. Fits well, cute design. It can be a bit of a challenge getting all of the velcro in place with a wiggly baby but not too difficult. I definitely plan on sticking with Huggies Little Swimmers since I know they work well for our family.
