Fun to use and great for exercise
My 5 year old granddaughter just loves this. I was kinda awkward at first, so being her grandma I put it on to show her how to use it and how it lights up (brighter at night). After one day she got the hang of it. Well made plastic material and comes with a tote bag for transporting.

Fun
My great niece loves this. She has one for home and one to keep at Grandmas house

Almost like the original
Only reason for not 5 stars is because I don't see why the counter can't be in the ball and I have to try to click and count. Also the plastic is already eaten up pretty bad and we only used it outside for not even 5 minutes

Super fun!
When I saw this I was really excited for my daughter to try something from my childhood. Well it’s not exactly like the version I had in the late 80’s…they don’t make things like they used to. But it’s similar. I’ll highlight some of the pros and cons…Pros:1-Nice foam on the ankle ring AND the stick part which makes this far more comfortable to use.2-The wheel on the end lights up once you get it spinning. The wheel itself reminds me of a scooter wheel and the lights are a super cool effect!3-Elastic holds all of the pieces together…this is fantastic because it means you can fold it up when not in use.4-Comes with a storage bag, so once you fold it up you have a place to put it.5-The ankle ring seems to be the perfect size. Everyone in the house has tried this out and adults and children are both able to easily fit their foot through the ring.So the only con I have found is the counter that comes with it. There are no instructions on how to use it or where to put it. I finally saw that it said “finger counter” in small print. So I guess you are meant to put this on your finger and click the button yourself each time it goes around. No one that’s tried this has had any interest in using it. The button that you press to count your skips is finicky and I just don’t think it’s accurate or worth using. There are also two small buttons where you can set the time and date. Yes, there is a clock feature on this small finger counter. Why??? I have no clue..just seems like more of a waste in my opinion.Ultimately this is great as a skip toy. Cool lights and it’s easy to get it going AND easy to keep it going once you get the hang of it. The fact that it folds up and has its own storage bag is a huge plus for people like me who just don’t have enough space. The counter sucks! But as long as you don’t care about that, you will most likely really enjoy this throwback of a toy!

Perfect size for kids!
My daughter got this for her 8th birthday. It's a lightweight toy, the perfect size for a younger kid. We love the colored lights on the weight at the end and the soft ring that goes around the ankle. It's collapsible, folding small enough to fit in its own little bag! This one came with a jump counter that she can click a she jumps, making the record-setting even more fun!
