The handle of the lid gets extremely hot - extremely

The pot is fine, the handle stays at a relatively safe temperature. The lid handle is not heat-resistant AT ALL. I leave a hot pad on the lid to remind me. Every other pot/pan lidiown has a heat-resistant handle. This one should as well.I won't return it, but had I realized this in advanceI wouldn't have purchased it. (Bought in-store, not through Amazon.)
