I purchased this AboveTEK lap desk to elevate my computer when I am working in my studio. The workbench is a hazardous environment and I wanted my computer up out of harms' way. I saw this in a random post in one of my art groups on social media and immediately purchased it. When it arrived the next day I was surprised to learn how multifunctional it is. I have since used it every day as a standing desk at my workbench and I am very pleased. It also serves as an ideal sewing station when I bind books sewn over tapes or cords by adding a steel ruler and two clamps. Easy-peasy!! The item is light weight, sturdy, and folds down to a very thin silhouette that can be slipped into a bookshelf next to my workbench. The surface is wide and accommodates my large laptop with plenty of room to spare. There are two lightweight clamps that hold the computer in place when I wish to use the adjustable angle feature. It's a wonderful tool and there is also a newer version that is adapted for other devices as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Due to post office delays, it took a little longer to receive.I am pleased with the TEK Laptop Desk for my computer (I have only used it for a partial day so far). I use is it on top of my desk in order to stand to work. The tilt works well and there are several height settings on the legs for what ever height you may need. The wood grain color is nice and goes well with the office decor.The leg mechanism is made of plastic so be careful opening & closing the legs and only open and close as needed. I would not lean on it or put more weight on it other than for the purpose of the laptop & mouse, reading a book or your meals.It should last a long time if taken care of properly.

I needed a tray table of some kind to make it easier to work from home on my couch or my craft room's daybed, which have the best daytime lighting. I also needed something to help elevate my laptop for video calls when I choose to work at my desk.This is a really easy to use stand and a great weight, though not as versatile as it suggests on the packaging. I even use it with the legs folded up when I don't need a stand but do want a flat surface for my mouse. in fact, it's slightly too wide to fit when I'm sitting sideways on my couch (not the greatest ergonomically, but awfully comfortable for long video calls!) so I fold up the leg on the inside and balance that edge against the cushions.The sliding clips work really well at securing my laptop, and the rubber bumper is vital for my wireless mouse. However, the surface could do with slightly more texture or grippiness especially on the mouse side, because things slide all over with the slightest bump or angle. I would be nervous about using this stand as a food tray!The stand fits both my standard work laptop (15") and my personal extra large media laptop (19"). it can get a little warm, but the hard surface is much better than soft fabric for keeping the laptops cool. if you have little feet to raise the back of your device a bit to introduce airflow, it wouldn't be a bad idea to use them.I don't find it useful for my tablet or ereader unless I'm lying down completely. other, smaller stands designed for them might be better - mostly because to use this one, I couldn't comfortably hold my device closer to me. but when I was sick, lying down on my back with only a few pillows to elevate my head, and watching a movie on my tablet, I found this stand to be great. I only used one of the sliding clips and set the table at an extreme angle with extra height on the legs, which was perfect.I'm thinking about getting some Sugru and making something to keep power cords in place, so they don't try to tangle around the legs when I move around. it's not a big problem, but I've unplugged my laptop a few times when moving the tray to the side so I can get a snack or answer the door or whatever. I'd also like something grippy near the top of the mouse side where I can set my phone and not have it slide around. Other trays have phone slots, but this one has a much better overall design!

This is exactly the standing desk table or converter I need. First, the value seemed perfect. Second, it's not just a little table to set on the desk, it actually has clips to secure my laptop and a soft ledge to keep my mouse from sliding off. I love the way I can adjust the table's angle and height. The size is perfect for my large laptop and a mousepad and mouse. I can see how this would also be great for other uses - in bed or for travel. It folds nicely and is easy to carry.

Really well designed product, it is easy to adjust and light weight. I use it as a stand for my laptop at my desk for both sitting and standing and as a bed tray table. I use it primary to elevate my laptop so that I am not hunching over all day, originally I thought the stand didn't adjust low enough to do this comfortably, but once I got used to it was fine. The tilting function is really nice and the clips secure my laptop to the table, but are low profiles so when I am typing on my laptop the clips don't press into my wrist uncomfortably. In summary I like the versatility of this product, and how easy it is to adjust to take advantage of the versatility.

I was using a hospital like table but it was to hard rolling it in and out this table is light weight enough to pick up move down to get out of bed . I have trouble sitting for long periods due to my back so this was the next choice to relax and use my laptop. I enjoy making art on my laptop and enjoy watching a movie at the same time and this bed table makes it easy. Height adjustment is easy and it tills to a few angles. and when Im not using my laptop it nice to enjoy on meal on.
