Description
- ✓When it comes to brewing tea, most people picture boiling water in a stainless-steel kettle or pouring water from a ceramic or clay teapot. Few people, however, picture a cast iron teapot as the traditional method of brewing tea. In fact, cast iron teapots have been used in Japan for hundreds of years, and they are still a part of the Japanese tea ceremonies around the country.
- ✓Our cast iron teapot is inspired by traditional Japanese design. The matte blue exterior gives this teapot a touch of antique elegance that will make a striking fixture on any settings.
- ✓The heavily constructed cast iron body prevents the pot from cracking easily and retains heat well - it can keep your tea at the proper serving temperature for up to an hour. In addition, the enamel interior preserves the taste of tea original and pure and prevents the interior from rusting. The pot also comes with a mesh tea infuser, keeping the loose-leaf teas out of your cup and thus it is much easier to clean your pot after use. It can last for a lifetime if properly cared for.
