I bought an HM10 from DSD Tech and it worked fine except when I went so far into my living room the connection would be lost. Thanks to their great tech support they explained the HM10 is about 10-30 meters and recommended the SH-H3 which is 50-100 meters. It runs at a default 115200 baud which was perfect for me since I set the HM10 manually for 115200. I simply unplugged the HM10 and plugged in the SH-H3 and worked fine! I would definitely recommend this over other Bluetooth modules. I'm interfacing with it with using a Bluetooth iPhone/ipad app.

Full document is a must.
Worked with my iPhone using LightBlue app! Lack of documentation, Chip ID is left out and there were few AT Commands provided in “Datasheet”. I have contact the tech support to get the rest of AT Commands.I’ll update my review whenever I get the rest of the commands.

Bought to use on jetson bike
Tried to use this on a jetson bike pro that has no Bluetooth, hoped this would allow the bike to connect but it didnt work...

Limited Functionality
The module has a very limited AT command set that it supports.NOTE: Whilst the description say that this can replace the HC-05, it will only replace the HC-05 if it is in slave mode. This device cannot be configured as a Master.

Works but the documentation and app is terrible.
Was about to return it then figured out how to get it working. Their android app was a joke, it's sluggish and lots of weird behavior not sure whether it was just slow or really bugs. And their documentation was merely better than nothing.
