Go With R.A.E. Gear's One Finger Leatherman Sheaths!
So, I've got the OHT sheath as well as the sheaths for Leatherman's Surge & MUT. Each fits like a glove. As far as I can tell, they are all very well engineered and manufactured. The Leatherman sheaths that come with the tools are great if you need storage, but the velcro action can get get a bit *old* if you are needing to use and re-sheath the tool over and over. Enter the R.A.E. Gear sheath. The idea of the one-fingered grab out of the sheath works perfectly. Easy to put back into the sheath. I elected to purchase the 'duty clip' of 2.25" because I use my Leathermanz both with casual clothes and a tool belt. Even on a nylon belt that's 1 5/8", it works well enough [there's a little play, but that's to be expected]. Having just received them, I can't say what the endurance factor is, but I'm impressed. The only downside is that I see a wearing away of what-seems-to-be a powder coating - at the contact points at the top of the OHT sheath - where the plier release/lock is located. But hey - they're tools, the sheaths are tools - they're meant to be used. Even if there's *some* wear on the Leatherman itself...it's probably worth the easier access this metal sheath provides. Then there's Leatherman's 25 year warranty, so you just really can't flipping lose. Now, can you? Recommended!

Overall it is a very good holder. It fits really close to the body ...
I bought this because my leatherman sheath finally blew out and would not hold my tool anymore. Overall it is a very good holder. It fits really close to the body so it can hide it well, unlike the leatherman sheath, if you do not like having bulky stuff on your belt. It will dig into your side at first if you do not tuck your shirt in, but you get used to it quickly. Ease of operation is phenomenal. I got the 2.25" clip because I have a 1.75" belt. I thought it was going to move a lot, but the clip is tight and I were a thick belt. I recommend this to anyone that seriously carries an OHT or any other multi-tool he offers this in.

Its heavy duty but when on belt hard to put in clip after use. But way better than the nylon belt clip.

Edgy but comfortable
Great compact sheath. It does a great job of opening the players as you pull them out. Unless you don’t and then it’s a simple trick to keep it closed. Great for EDC

Great concept. Not a good idea for the OHT.
I bought this for my 2.25" duty belt. The first problem is that it doesn't stay locked down on my belt. It is constantly popping up and I basically always have to have my hand on it to push it back down. I would imagine if anyone had to run with this on their belt they would risk loosing their tool. Granted, it may just be that it doesn't work well with MY belt, but it was an issue for me.The main issue with this sheath was with it pulling on the side tabs you use to deploy the pliers. This causes the pliers to pull out every time you take the tool out of the sheath. You basically NEED to keep the pliers locked on the tool in order to avoid this, but that defeats the purpose of the one-handed deployment. It might help if the sheath had cut outs on the sides so as to avoid the side tabs. This style sheath (obviously not this one because it's specifically for the OHT) would work great for any other leatherman.

fits properly, holds securely
The Leatherman fits properly and holds securely. Keep that in mind that it's steel so it's not as comfortable to wear as a soft pouch.

Good and Sharp
It’s a good fit overalls, but the metal housing can be sharp. I cuts open my leather steering wheel while I got in to my car.
