The WORX batteries are always available. When they finally do die and won’t recharge you will have a replacement battery. NEVER buy a vac with a built in battery.

Great suction
It is not a perfect vacuum but it works great. It sucks up dust and pet hair like crazy. There is only one filter you need to clean and the unit comes with a spare one. The filters are well made and should last a very long time. Some reviewers said trash got stuck inside the opening, that is because they didn't read the manual. If you remove the filter, you will see a handle for removing the metal filter basket. That leaves the dust container wide open and it is so easy to clean it up. It is actually a great feature of this vacuum.

Works
Love my vacuum cleaner! Works is a great product. I have weedeater, leaf blower, and chainsaw. Batteries interchange and all are very lightweight love the product.

UPDATE: NO!!!I just vacuumed out my car-its very very small! I keep it very clean and never have passengers. It's for work only. I went through 2 fully charged batteries!!! Don't buy this! Nope Nope Nope!Original review:No don't buy this. I only bought this because I have multiple worX tools and several batteries-7. At the price point you should at least get one. Not an issue for me but others, definitely.I bought this to replace my corded stick vac because the filters for that are becoming harder to find at a reasonable price point. This comes with an extra filter but there is no option to buy replacement filter so I don't know what that's gonna look like down the road.One fully charged battery got me use of a 16x2 foot hallway, a room that is 10x12 feet, and a bathroom that's 3x4 feet before the battery died.This would be okay for a studio apt or dorm room.Suction was less than current stick vac.

Won't even pick up a dead cricket
I have almost all the Worx 20v tools and thought having a Worx stick vacuum for use on my Florida screen porch would be a great idea. Wrong. I turned the vacuum on high speed and noticed it wasn't doing a very good job picking up the dust and pollen from the concrete floor. Then there was a dead cricket and thought it would be sucked up immediately but it wasn't. After moving the vacuum back and forth about a dozen times it was still there so I gave up. I like all the other Worx tools I have but this one is a loser. Plus, after vacuuming I checked the cannister. Everything was clogged with the fine dust and pollen and that's after only a few minutes of use. I have the Worx Cube Vac and recommend that but not this.

Very happy with this vacuum
I’m very happy with it. I get good battery life. I use it on carpet and hardwood floors. I like the little headlight- it really helps for the hardwood floors.

Cleans very well with plenty of power and suction.eady to use and quite sturdy.easy to move from room to room. The only drawbacks are wish battery would last a little longer and a bigger storage for wasre.
