I bought this for our new portable GEN 2250 watt generator. It fits really nicely and it’s snug. If anything, maybe 1/2 inch or so too short.It covers it completely from top to bottom and you can still pull the drawstring tightly but it doesn’t quite draw down completely underneath.At least the generator that I have, which is slightly taller then some other units.Could it blow off if it was in the bed of your truck at 70-mph? I don’t know because I haven’t tried it but I’d strap it down so the generator didn’t slide around in the bed of the truck anyway.Primarily it was purchased as a dust cover and will sit in the garage but its plenty durable.I definitely like the side pocket so I can keep the usual “easy to lose” owners manual and a few tools that go with the generator.Also like the fact that you can open up the handle to carry the unit with the cover on, a very handy addition.I can’t say how long it will last because I haven’t had it that long, but I suspect as long as most any of the others and the price is right.Well worth it.Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

I really like the drawstring design with the push-button cord clasp on this generator cover. It’s much easier and faster to drop this cover over the generator and cinch it tight compared to wrestling with another cover I own that has a tight elastic band at the bottom. This covers my Honda EU2200i generator more completely all the way to the ground on all four sides. The cover material is thinner than some others, but I believe it is adequate for moderate wear and tear. Water beads up readily on the material offering good protection from the rain. A discreet exterior and color that don’t draw attention or advertise the contents are absolute requirements in my view and this cover is the best I've found in that regard. Other useful features including the large tool pocket with Velcro closure, access to the generator handle through the cover, and a storage pouch for the cover all make this a superior design and excellent bargain overall in my opinion.

Have a Honda 2200 and the elastic bottom covers of most brands can be a nuisance sometimes in getting them on. What I like is the modern durable material that is lightweight yet rugged and weather resistant, the pocket to leave the Honda funnel (in a ziplock baggie first) and other useful items pertaining to the Gen,and no label that says Honda or Generator to avoid temptation of some to walk off with them. The tie at the bottom holds very well, just slide the keeper to tighten it, and the large handle opening on the top is secured closed by good velcro and is a plus in moving the gen. The fit is excellent and truly custom made for the Honda 2000 series and I'm sure the Yamaha 2000's as well. Just unfold this cover and drop it on the gen with no hassle of stretching elastic on the bottom like the other kind of covers. I keep my gens on the small furniture movers from HF ($7 with coupon) for ease of rolling around in the garage and a little more height for oil changes.

Perfect Fit. I really like it

The cover fit my Honda EU2200i very well – not too tight or loose -and the drawstring holds securely. I like the discrete grey appearance without a bright red ‘Honda’ logo that might entice thieves. The flap you can open to grab the lift handle without removing the cover is quite handy. Material is thin – similar to a tent or cheap gym bag – so only time will tell how it holds up to usage and the elements. Otherwise, the quality of stitching and material is overall excellent. And the Velcro is tenacious! The cover comes in a zip case, which I first thought was a needless throwaway item until I discovered that the manual packed with the generator fits inside perfectly. The zip case in turn fits inside the cover pocket with ample space for other items (e.g., spare spark plug, misc. accessories.) Overall this cover seems to represent a good value for the price.

I bought this cover for my I-Power 4300. It fits perfectly and looks good. It's light material, but seems durable.
