Solbar AVO SPF 35 Suncreen, 4 Oz

I have been using this sunscreen from the time I was 14-now (20!), so we are running on a solid 6 years of using this sunscreen on a daily basis. It is truly the only one I have found that doesn’t leave too much of a white cast and I like the texture of on my skin. It provides a nice amount of extra moisture without feeling greasy, too. The price is a bit high, and has gone up over the years, but it has overall been worth it for the consistency of this product. The very best sunscreen!

My Dermatologist recommended it. I like it because it goes a lot further on application and it works very well. Not greasey.

I started using this sunscreen after my father's dermatologist told me that she uses it. It is hard to find in the stores, so this time around I ordered it online and it was here in two days. It disappears on the skin quickly, has no scent, and is very effective. I spend many hours outdoors and have not had issues with sun burn if I have this on. I do notice it's presence when I go to wash my face, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.

Love this sunscreen for daily, year-round use on my face and neck. It goes on white and creamy but VERY easily rubs into the skin and absorbs completely. Be aware, it's not a matte finish so there is a little shine, but it's not greasy looking. I have rosacea and I use Retin-A, so a daily sunscreen is essential; I've tried a bunch of them and this one is the best so far. It's economical, doesn't smell weird and chemically like others do (*ahem* LaRoche-Posay *ahem*), and it is very gentle on my skin. Highly recommended.

Been using SolBar Avo for sometime and am very satisfied. Using it as sunscreen ....very light to skin/ non-greasy/unscented (but would be nice to have a subtle scent added, like lemony/fruity ).

For those with sensitive skin and don't care much for scented, sticky, pore-plugging types of sunscreen, then this product is worth a try. As a first time user, I immediately liked it for it's fragrance-free, grease-free, sticky-free feel. More importantly, my highly allergic skin took to it well. Although the price may seem like a bit much, it's the best sunscreen I've ever come across in my lifetime.
