I gave this to my husband who has a difficult time finding hats that fit. This one fits him very well. It is warm but not scratchy. It cost a little more than similar hats but it is precisely what he needed.

I purchased as a gift for my roommate and he loves it! It fits and stays on nicely and the lining protects from strong winds.

Fits comfortable and warm. I wear it over a baseball cap because I want a visor for early morning walks. So far wore it down to 28 degrees and it is warm.

I don't have a Megamind sized dome but I take a larger size (like xl sun hat etc) and at $25 I would be very satisfied with a hat like this. But it'll have to find a home on a friend with a smaller head. The size is off. If this is an XXL I'd think regular size would be akin to a childs head. I would give it 4 stars if it fit because this is a warm hat (very warm) and seems well made. The fleece lining makes a huge difference compared to a hat without. But be wary of sizes.

I like it stretches with my hairstyle. I was concerned about the size. Would really love to see styles with a ball on top.

My husband has a massive head. He is a tall, sturdy bloke, and a small head would look odd, but it does lead to a certain amount of difficulty when it comes to headwear.Motorcycle helmets tend to be a no-go, and in winter he has the option of either having a cold head, or buying something like a flat cap where hats are made to different sizes and sold by size. Beanie hats have always been hilariously small, usually barely covering the tops of his ears.When I saw this hat listed as XL/XXL, I was fairly certain it wouldn't be anywhere near, anticipating Chinese clothing sizing where everything is far smaller than UK sizing. I was, therefore, very pleasantly surprised when the hat arrived with a tag explaining "Top-Ex was born from my need for outdoor hats that fit my XXXL head size..."Removing the hat from the clear, plastic bag it was shipped in, the outer was clearly genuine wool, but soft and non-itchy as expected with Merino. The inside of the hat is lined with polyester fleece, stitched in place to allow the hat to stretch. The rib knit of the wool also allows stretching, and he overall length of the hat is long enough to completely cover my husband's giant head, and ears, and retain the turn-up!I'm not sure why the people in the product photos are wearing their hats so high up that their ears will freeze, but don't worry, your ears will stay warm in this hat!The fleece lining is soft against the skin, and the merino wool outer is extremely warm, especially combined with the fleece. Perfect for winter walks, and ideal for any larger skulled people.
