This is a really lovely set. It feels like quality, and has a nice weight, all the pieces are wooden with they have felt bases. The only minor criticism is that, for this price, I would have expected for the playing pieces to be a little larger and heavier as they are quite small.I have given this 4 out of 5 stars as it is a quality set but for the price, board is excellent, and it can be used for it to storage, but I would have expected the play pieces to match the quality of the board. At nearly £75, this feels a little expensive for what it is.Pros:- Beautiful Chess, Drafts, Snakes and Ladders, Ludo and Backgammon set.- Includes wooden pieces and dice.Cons:- Playing pieces are a bit small.

This is a beautifully made wooden game board with 4 games included:- Chess- Backgammon- Ludo- Snakes & LaddersHusband and I are currently teaching ourselves chess and we feel very fancypants indeed playing (badly) on this board.It is handmade and you can feel the quality. It’s perfect, with no misalignment or rough wood. It feels like a labour of love and while it’s not cheap per se, it is a genuine bargain.It’s larger than it looks in the photo so if you’re low on gaming space you may struggle with this. But if you like board games, and you have the room and it’s in your budget, you won’t find anything better. It’s gorgeous.

This is not a cheap set. This is a boxed set of 4 traditional, well known and popular games in wooden box. It looks expensive. It looks and is well made. It has a classic high quality look and feel to it. Being in a box, it is portable and good to take on holiday. This would make a lovely gift. I am delighted with it. Definitely recommended.
