Image Recall 5 (PC)

Installed it and it didnt recognise a standard 8gb Fuji SD card.Tried many configurations with no success.Apparently it doesnt work with 'corrupted' cards which is the reason most people would buy this.Had to take a chance and buy an additional SD card reader which plugs into the hard drive via a USB port.(The hard drive has an SD slot but the software didnt recognise it)The software then finally recognised and recovered all of the 20 photographs I accidentally wiped.The company I bought this from-PicStop- were extremely helpful and answered all my emails quickly.This may not be the software you need,ask as many questions as you can Before buying.

Waste of money, firstly it would not work by installing the disc, you`ve got to phone the supplier for a code then it does work ... But on scanning my system it goes so far then stops and then ....nothing, so i went to try and install it on my other computer and guess what ... it would not work with the code supplied to me, you would have to phone again to try and sort it out, so i gave up and thought i`d look around and buy a proper program that works with no hassle, most discs you put in and away to go .....

I thought I've lost hundreds of photos from recent trip back home. I don't know exactly how I managed to erase data from my SD card, I was just gutted at the time and then I remember seeing this in one of the shopping channels( combo pack) which cost a lot more, fortunately I found this in Amazon. This is a life saver. It managed to retrieve all the photos from my SD card. This one really works!! It gave my sanity back... Thanks again

After a few problems which is not the sellers fault, I have received the item and it was well packaged and sealed. Very happy with both the item and the seller

This is quite a good program but it doesn't find all the different types of files. It can still be recommended for the average camera. Not as easy to use as Image Recall 3 but Image Recall 3 does not seem to work on Windows 7 and 8.

I had seen it used on TV before and was quite impressed.But when you actually use it it mind blowing fantastic fantastic I have told others about it so you should be getting some more orders from them.

The product worked for ten minutes, an a computer, but no success at all other programmes sucessfully retreaved the lost data

The small print hidden away on the user manual explained why I was unable to retrieve my deleted images: "Smart Media & xD Cards - Are completely non-recoverable when the format or „erase all‟ option has been selected on the device using the cards". Buyers should also be aware that the software is not-compatable with many different types of camera. If this information had been made visible up-front, I would not have purchased. I feel I was mis-sold.
