I love the ice this makes. It’s also super fast. Makes ice in minutes. It is rather loud though when the fan runs and can only hold a small batch of ice at a time.

Easy to move or travel with it, just remember to drain it and remove the ice before you pack the unit.Power: idle less than 1 W, start up 50 W, making ice 150W, max noise level 65 dB at 1 ft.Nugget size, About 3/8” cube, basket capacity, about 32 oz., good for about 3 or 4 average users or 2 constant users.Fast at filing the basket if you are not watching it, definitely not fast enough for a bunch of party drinks and/or cocktails.I recommend using only filtered or RO water to avoid chlorine, or/and bad taste and don’t forget to follow the manual cleaning instructions.

The ice maker in my refrigerator died years ago, but the refrigerator and freezer parts still work fine. I just bought bagged ice or got free ice from a couple different convenience stores. That eventually got old.Always loved the soft eating ice from Sonic, Chick-fil-A, and others. So I started looking around and after comparison shopping and reviews I chose this one.It does everything it’s claimed to do and does it well. However I haven’t needed to clean it yet. Some people say it’s loud. It is a little bit. I’d compare it to a quiet AC window unit maybe. It does blow warm air out of one side also. Just like an AC window unit or outside AC compressor unit does. In this cold winter weather that’s not exactly a bad thing.The distilled water that they recommend makes good ice, but a little bland tasting. I’m going to try some different spring waters and see if that improves the taste. Ozarka and Fiji specifically because my well water is kinda hard. I know I’ll have to clean it more frequently but it be worth it for the best tasting ice.I’ll report back in a few weeks or months with my results.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas and she absolutely loved it!! She has them saved in bags in the freezer so she can make it at any time! It also isn't too noisy at all and makes the ice at a fast pace!

This does produce ice pretty quick. But the size of the small cube is bigger than eexpected. It's so big I thought it was the large cube. If you are wanting that old school ice you need to purchase a machine that makes nuggets. You'll pay more but at least you won't be disappointed
