Great Script reference
great reference, but it's much easier to learn letters in related sets.such as Baa, Taa, Thaa, Noon and Yaa. as they are all very similar.but passing that their sections of vowels is great for reference however as a first timer it's easier with spoken explanations on youtube.however once you get the basics and return to this book its a great way to do drills.By about section 9 they start using script to build root words and common quran words as examples, like allah, allahu, Illaha, subhanahu, lahu etc.As a kind of word builder reference dictionary for script this book is very good.it carries weight for me and has been very valuable, when i consider the cost and how the seller shipped it right awaythis was a great book for me to buy.Arabic is a beautiful language and quran is a beautiful book, islam a beautiful religion.Learning to read puts you in the middle of all of it.Alhamdulilah thank you so much for this book, it changed my life.

I liked the book - could have been better.
I agree with Miss Rose's review of the book.Book makes certain assumptions. However, once you realize that, the reader can quickly adapt by going on the internet and printing some sort of guide to help with pronunciations, and or look for some one that can help in some way.The book is broken down into lessons, with a nice array of practice words or sounds. Author provides transliteration to make up for its assumptions.Would I recommended the book? yes.Would I buy it again? Yes.Its not a bad little book. In the past, I've bought books believing in their "easy" and "learn arabic ic 30 days"...yea whatever. This book does not make any promises that I could see, but it does say, "Help yourself in Reading Quran". I think it all boils down to one word (motivation), well maybe two words (determination). It really is a do-it-yourself book. No one book is going to provide everything...this is one of them.Text is nice and big, clear, and page formatting is not cramped like some other books in the market. This book is a nice investment. That is why I give a 4 star.To the author: perhaps a CD would have been nice so the non-arabic reader can get some idea of what the word or sound is suppose to sound like. Also, Provide us with a preview of the book, even its an older edition would have been good. Here is a link to help you decide for yourself: BTW don't let the "Arabic" throw you off. I think they mean the Forward is in arabic. [...]
