Great product for not being lego

I actually bought this for a completely different use - I needed something flat with a rough texture and this worked great. BUT, I did do so testing first for it's intended purpose. I grabbed a few various Lego bricks and stuck them on to test compatibility and sturdiness. First off, the plates themselves stick together well - there's plenty of rods included and lots of holes on each side to accommodate numerous configurations. All the bricks I tested stuck very securely to the surface - in fact, it almost felt a bit tighter than standard Lego plates. I even did some tests spanning multiple plates and the spacing was great. Simple, but works as intended.

Needed additional plates to fit our Lego sets, these work great and fit perfectly! The sturdy plates fit bricks as expected and the customizable size through the connectors are great for different builds. The height of the connectors work well when connecting to official sets. The only downside is that there is a little wiggle in one of the plates but may simply be related to the pegs used. Using official pegs fixed the problem. If/when additional baseplates are needed, I will be looking at these first.

This product arrives in a self-sealing bag. There are four plates, four "connectors", and a small bag full of pins. They are the height of a standard LEGO® brick + a standard plate; so they will line up with any other constructs that use the same basic mechanic.They have a good feel, but are a bit lighter than a similarly sized lego component. That's not a knock on the elements however, as they have very good clutch with standard LEGO® pieces and figures. Being that the sides are technic based, they will work well for elevated floors, tower roofs, or really anywhere that walls or bases are needed.I would definitely keep these in mind when I need more similar pieces.

Very sturdy baseplates. You can connect the 4 of them together with enclosed pegs into a bigger, still sturdy, baseplate. (There's also some odd-shaped pieces enclosed that might allow you to mount the plate on the wall.) These individually are just the right size for my 5 year old to carry around to build on with a few legos as a daily toy. Together it’s big enough for a good-sized diorama. I really like how sturdy the plastic feels; it doesn’t feel cheap and bendable. Our lego brand pieces fit well on them, and off brand minifigs attach well also.

These plates work with the major name brand regular size building sets. The connectors in the package work to put the squares together. You also receive 4 blocks that can be used as picture hangers by attaching to the back of each plate. These attach with the same connectors. These plates can be used as baseplates, 3-D art work, or with small flat pieces / dots to make flat art work. I have tried out a sample of all the pieces and they work well together.

This is a budget-friendly pack of build plates equivalent to those commonly used in wall art sets. The kit includes a hanger brick for each and plenty of friction pins for however you'd like to connect them up. I scored a sweet deal on a bunch of Extra DOTS polybags a few months back but haven't had plates available to create anything with them until now. Dimensions and stud compatibility are all good so far, and no quality problems jumping out at me. Perfect choice for creating your own wall art or for modular MOCs.
