The media could not be loaded. From what I have researched, so long as you match the frame size, power, RPM, and direction, any replacement motor should work just fine for your AC. This has a slightly longer shaft length than OEM but that is of no real concern given the large space the motor has available to it.My AC company, since fired for an unrelated problem they created, apparently put the wrong capacitor (needed 7, tech installed 5) in place and burned out my condenser fan motor after about a year. In the video I called it a 5 Mega Farad cap, ignore me. This is not a car amplifier. The correct unit is micro-farad.This was an easy replacement and likely due to being 15-20 years newer, it matched the capacitor rating of what they installed. I spent more time cleaning the condenser coils of a decade of grime. It used the same mounting holes and wired up just the same. The box has the wiring guide on it so I didn’t have to crane my neck over to read the motor.Of course there is no free lunch and the motor cap died along with the motor. Thankfully the included 5uF cap was easy to wire up. I cut leads off the old motor and tied them together into a jumper between common and the fan cap and then plugged the fan line into the fan cap. I ordered a new dual cap for the eventuality that the herm side fails as well. The attached photo is from testing and I used some electrical tape to wrap the wire nut and some zip ties to support the cap.Overall a very easy swap and I save myself at least $800 over the AC company that caused the issue in the first place. The old motor was very loud and vibrated aggressively. It’s a lot more pleasant to be outside with the AC on now. Since I deep cleaned the unit as well it performs fantastically. Assuming the lack of a spinning fan did not damage the compressor, perhaps we’re going to see another happy decade of use.

Super quiet and solidly made. Replaced a failed 1/3 hp with this 1/4 and can't tell the difference. Especially at 1/3 the price. AC back up and running and wire length and connections were perfect.

Ordering this from Amazon is way more convenient than buying from hvac supply stores.I can order it immediately and have it shipped to the residence without having to try to make time to make it to the hvac supply.I installed the first one almost a year ago and no issues yet.
