Professional Level
This is an amazing, innovative device that produces professional quality sound FOR you. High quality all around, in build and performance. And easy enough that a Caveman can do it. Great Set It And Forget It system for non-tech-savvy beginners, and pros alike.I do have a few gripes. I don't want to depend on the cloud and their site for everything, and would like an SD/TF card type of deal. II do love that it comes with a free year membership, but don't like that it requires a paid membership after. Seems like, at this pricepoint, it should be a lifetime license. Just my two cents.Other than that, it's Amazing. If you don't mind doing everything through their site and cloud, it's in your price range, and you don't mind the membership and fee after free year, then it's going to be a 5 star experiences for you, I'm sure.

Incredible Convenience and Quality
We produce podcasts for major brands. To our clients, quality audio matters. To us, convenience and cost savings matter, too. The Nomono Sound Capsule delivers all three. I'll soon be packing this for an overseas on-location recording, and this will take up less room in my luggage than my shaving kit.

1 year free to try it all out...
This is a truly high quality setup in a portable form factor. I like it. Do I love it? It is pretty close...First, the recorded quality is top notch. The ease of up setup and go is great. The service model you are tied to? I don't know... my initial issue is that I must rely on THEIR cloud service. You get a year free and at this price, you should! After that, I don't know that I will be that happy to continue the service.Don't get me wrong. This is a fantastic setup for podcasting and especially while on the road at different locations. It is just that I like local control and content and not to rely on a third party for my raw recordings. I may change my opinion, but that is the real, fundamental issue I have here.

Works Well, Could Use Improvements
This is a great little package, and it *could* be good to get anyone started in podcasting or recording of various sorts. It's very high quality and very well made. Pretty simple to use and understand. However...I feel for the price, there could be a few improvements. Such as the capability to work without using a cloud. SD card storage would also be a huge plus, and no subscription fees would be nice, considering the $2,500 dollars being invested up-front, I feel at that price, it should come with a "Pro" subscription, for life. But as someone who is constantly on the go and spends a lot of time in areas with no wifi, having more offline capabilities would help. A lot. Perhaps if they could write some software that works for PC/Apple/Linux, so we can pull recordings from the Sound Capsule to store on our own hard drives, and works without the need for wifi/internet.As it stands, I was able to connect it to my Android phone very quickly and easily, and overall I would say the microphone, sound quality is absolutely professional quality. Very nice equipment, here. I just find the "need" for wifi/internet/cloud in order to use this device, a little off-putting. I do not like devices that absolutely will not work without internet service, this is a HUGE negative, in my humble opinion. Therefore I must give a 3 star rating.Perhaps, in the future, Nomono will consider it's customer base and understand that the restrictive cloud requirement is hindering the full capabilities this device could have. There is a lot of potential if they can figure out solutions to the issues I have mentioned above.Cannot recommend if you are in my type of a situation, and you spend a lot of time "off-the-grid" and out of reach of internet services. However, if that is not an issue for you, then I would highly recommend this device as it is truly professional quality and value. Also understand that you will have to pay an additional subscription fee to use this device to it's full potential, which quickly adds up. Probably not the best solution if you are just getting started in podcasting, and you are not making money from said podcasting. So consider that before investing.Additional thoughts - I understand at this point it would be a lot to ask for to fundamentally change the device to allow an SD card, etc. However, it would be fairly easy for Nomono to write a software that would allow users to use wifi (without requiring an internet connection) to pull recordings from the Sound Capsule, and save them to our PC/Apple machines. This simple compromise would greatly improve the functionality and versatility of this amazing recording device. Not to mention improve security for those who are concerned about their content being connected to the internet. Things to think about.

3 and a half stars! Read why...
This portable podcasting kit is absolutely high quality and premium (As it should be for the price!) Sound quality is phenomenal, noise cancellation is superb, battery life is excellent, and portability is outstanding! But a couple major problems I've noticed so far, one being you have to buy in to a subscription plan to use the features, another being no SD card support, (cloud ONLY) and last one being that you have to be connected to Wi-Fi at all times with it!With as much as this cost, those are major let downs and I can see this potentially holding this back for future buyers! If you don't care about those issues, and only care about sound quality then this is an amazing kit! I probably wouldn't recommend this given the high cost, and certain let downs.I didn't want to give them 4 stars, but I also don't want to give them three stars, So it's right in between at 3 and a half!

This is the real deal.
I've tried a few podcast all in one setups before but man... The Nomono takes the cake.Yes, it's absurdly expensive, but the quality is top notch. Actually insane. I have about 30gb's of footage recorded but unfortunately my net is too slow to upload to Amazon for this.I'd say that the price tag is offputting for a lot of people and it should be. This is not intended for beginners nor casual podcast shows. This is for top end, production level quality and it should be treated as such.If you have the funds and your shows are doing well and you want to level up even further, I think Nomono might be for you.If you're just taking a budding interest in it, don't even think about getting this. It's unnecessary for getting your start especially if you can't commit to making your podcast successful / just having fun.
