I want to start with a reality check on the amazon advert. Some of the images are not of the items that you get, they show different picks and tension wrenches.Also the tools are fairy feeble and will bend easily not high quality.That out of the way, of all the items that I get to test for amazon this is a fun one, at £11.99 it is OK value think of it as a toy/puzzle/learning aid.I have never picked a lock before, the transparent lock was great, I could see how the mechanism worked. It probably took me 10 mins to pick it. (instructions are poor).Full of confidence I tried a real padlock, you can see it in my photo. This is when the limitations of the tools became apparent. The tension wrenches that you use to turn the lock, were in danger of breaking and did in fact bend. It's cool having a lockpick set in the size of a credit card that can fit inside a wallet, especially if you want to feel like some kind of spy. But these picks are cheaply made and can be easily bent. The included tension tool isn't a great design and can easily fall out of place when in use as it hasn't got much leverage. I much prefer a dimple tension tool style or double twist as you have much more leverage and it doesn't fall out of place. As for the picks, they are small and compact but bend easily, fine for practicing but I would recommend getting some with a handle as they are much more comfortable. 3 stars because it includes a transparent padlock which is good for practicing with. The padlock is decent quality and easy to pick, good for beginners.
