Easy setup
Easy to wire. Nice and small, fits inside my standard size back box with blanking plate.Would not fit in a small lighting back box with a switch plate attached.Setup and connection worked first time with no faffing about. Maybe best first smart home setup I've seen.

Fantastic, UK buyers, buy with caution
If you're in the UK just beware these need a neutral wire. While most how to's show them fitted in the light switch case, they will need fitting next to the light. Worked first time and easy to pair with home assistant. Top tip, take a photo of the back so you always have a copy of the pairing code.

Worth every penny
Works a treat but the pairing mode as explained in the pamphlet is rubbish, doesn't work properly, keep the button pressed first time till the light flashes Intermittently, then press the button down again until it constantly flashes, then it's in pairing mode, this is the way ALL sonoff devices need to be set, this little beauty runs the 2 way controlled lights in my garage because I'm forever in and out and forgetting the lights, would i buy again ? definitely ! sonoff products are spot on

Tiny and matter compliant but requires a neutral wire for power.
If you need a single switched supply for a light or other wired-in device and have access to the neutral wire this is an excellent choice and will integrate with a Matter-based control system via WiFi. You can also use the eWeLink app via its local (fully documnented!) JSON web interface or via an eWeLink cloud account. (I would recommend installing the eWeLink app to check for firmware upgrades from time to time if nothing else.) Home Assistant support is provided via the built-in Matter support or the HACS Sonoff integration.I bought my first one to control my existing kitchen unit down-lights as these were wired in by the previous resident to the ring main and so the neutral coonection is available in the patress box.The unit has a built-in momentary contact switch & status LED which can be used to test the relay and to factory reset if required. The external switch contacts support main-rated momentary patress switches (e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F7ZQXSL) or can be used with the existing rocker or a multi-switch stairwell setup. An interesting bonus feature allows the switch input to be separated from the relay control. For DIY smart-homers this allows the option to use the switch for something other than the light/device power and/or to manage when the switch is functional based upon other criteria. I'm not using this yet but it's a nice feature to include in the firmware.

Convert existing lighting
Have a few of these over the house. Work great with existing lights and switches. There is just a live and neutral feed, live and neutral load to the light and then 2 connections to monitor the switch. You can easily adapt the wiring in a ceiling rose or light fitting.Had a couple fail on me recently making me think the build quality is not the greatest but I can't find an equivalent on amazon.

Home Assistant
Got these after much research, the installation is pretty straightforward. The 1st switch had negative to the socket and the other is in the ceiling rose. One tip! if your installing in the ceiling rose consider changing the rose lid for a deeper one... they are available and will mean you don't need to stick the switch in the ceiling void. In my setup... i don't use the Zigbee usb hub, the device acts as a wifi access point! once connected I updated the SSID and password, setup a static IP address on my IoT vlan. worked 1st time... been running over my wifi with NO issues or restarts... I will use these moving forward and have already brought 4 more. Great product, great integration into my network and works seamlessly with Home Assistant.

EXCELLENT LITTLE DEVICE
What a fantastic little module.Wi-Fi operated, but also fully compatible with on/off switch (i.e. light switch).Regardless of it's state (on or off), EITHER a Wi Fi command, *OR* a reversal of the switch position will change it's state. So it can be used with 2-way switching (or even multi-way switching).(The instructions make clear it needs a continuous "make" or an open circuit - a momentary switch won't do.)A note of caution: It is described as a DIY module - which it is - meaning it has to be installed inside an "enclosure" AND the switch wiring has to be isolated from the mains (i.e. it uses volt-free switching). It is small enough to fit behind a UK switch ( if the back box is quite deep), or inside larger lighting fittings. Note: It needs a Neutral (not always availabe at a switch). I installed two units inside a 2-gang plastic patress box in the loft, next to the wiring centre, where a neutral is available).Very easy to install if you have electrical experience - but I wouldn't advise it if you haven't.Initial impression: Quite remarkable for the price.

Does not connect to wifi
Absolutely useless at connecting to wifi and being configured with the app. The Sonoff mini is easy enough to physically install, simple wiring and easy to use screw terminals. It's a compact package too so easy to hide within a light fitting. However when it came to setting up the WiFi functionality, I found it absolutely impossible to detect and configure using my phone. The eWeLink app is poorly designed and failed to find the unit at least a dozen times. I tried switching off the 5ghz WiFi in my router and tried another smartphone, no joy. It did pick up the unit once and I thought, "yay! It's actually working!" But then after I cut power to the unit to refit the light fitting, the settings were either lost or could not connect again. Rubbish product, would not recommend. I think I'll switch to the Shelly plus 1 instead.
