Q: Can the hood be removed?

No. It's actually really thin like a windbreaker. Also, the collar has no ability to stand on its own. An it is very flimsy. Don't wash it! The silver will come off. The stitching on top of the pockets has begun to come undone.

***DISCLAIMER*** I AM NOT A WOMAN lol However, I do have a wee case of man boobs (full AA’s) and the vest was VERY snug. If you are to order this (btw, it’s a fabulous addition to the wardrobe) I would order it larger than you normally do. I give this hoodie vest 2 thumbs up!!!!

Q: Can i put an iron on patch on the back?

NO!!! You can not iron the material, it would melt. It is paint like material.
