Q: Why won’t Kobalt honor their free warranty when purchased through Amazon?

I do not know about other sellers but JDC Distributors honors all Kobalt warranties as long as you purchased the item from us. If you are having issues with an item we sold you please reach out and we will make sure your issue is resolved.

Q: Purchased last fall. The blades is dull and shredding the branches, no longer clean cuts. Is that covered under warranty?

Is last fall like 2021 or 2020. I brought mine from Lowe's and the blades didn't dull until it was around 2 years old so no returning to Lowe's. I purchased new blades because only two screws hold them in place.

Q: What is the warranty on this?

5 years to the original purchaser.

Q: How much for 40 v battery and charger

Seems like they are quite costly like 60.00 or more.
