It works!
Having been disappointed with my purchase of a Caran d'ache Ivanhoe propelling pencil (see my review), I thought I would try this one. Very pleased. Nice and lightweight metal body, firm clip, easy-grip 6-sided body, well-balanced, good 0.7mm leads that stay in position and don't slide back up the barrel with pressure. All in all a propelling pencil that works as it should at a price that won't break the bank.

Good mechanism, well made
I bought this to match the Classic Line ballpoint I have been using and which I was pleased with.This pencil is of equivalent quality. Aluminium in construction witha good mechanism.The leads used are 0.75 mm and are readily available.The leads supplied are of good quality and write very smoothly.

Crucial element to the tool-kit
These are superb mechanical pencils; they are light weight, with a robust design; and, mine is just as expected of which, I have three of these, which are always in each of the three work bags. It is Caran D Ache.

Worth the money.
I have the bigger 3mm Version and wanted something that would be easier to do fine detail with, this is perfect, good build quality and easy to use, well with the money, big upgrade from your bog standard pencil.

A propelling pencil which works properly!
After having tried other (usually less expensive) propelling pencils, and been frustrated every time that the grip on the lead fails, and the lead keeps sliding back up the barrel. Grrrr! This one GRIPS PROPERLY. HOORAH!

Nice pencil very few extra leads Didnt come packaged simply in envelope with barcode taped on but they less packaging good

The pencil that is mine 💖
It’s perfect for me.The balance and wait is perfect.The design, specifically has been around for a hundred years. My grandfather had a silver one (I believe that the internals were somewhat different but it looked identical)If you use a pencil a lot then this is a great every day scribbler!

No protective packaging at all!
I ordered this as a gift for a friend, so was looking for a quality product It may well be great, but came loose (not in bubble wrap or any other protective layer) in the same package as a book which I'd ordered
