Great stool for this price point.
As stools go, this one is very well made and has a lot of adjustments. It is also cost effective. I've tried others that are a bit more comfortable, but they were very heavy and much more expensive. This one came packed well and has many adjustments. If I had to find fault, it might be that the seat itself could use a "tilt" adjustment, a way to let it rock back or forward just a bit. Otherwise, I like this a lot and would buy it again.

My Butt's too old!
The product is exactly as described, but I'll be playing 3 nights a week at the lobster shack and I can't get it to fit my old bones.

Great design overall
I've used a lot of different guitar stools and have hated almost all of them. One of the main problems I always have are that my big feet don't have enough room to rest on whatever bar/footrest solution the stool has. Not a problem with the design of this one though. Another problem I've had with most stools (especially the basic, flat-topped circular cushion ones) is that the edge of the seat eventually feels like its digging into the lower arse/upper thigh area. This stools cushions are angled in a way that helps reduce (but not eliminate) this feeling.I do wish that there was a bit more adjustability/range, in the positioning of the back support especially (if the back cushion had some sort of telescoping adjustment built into it, instead of only being able to adjust the bar distance under the seat). Also, I personally could use one notch higher of a foot rest position (would further help reduce the back of thigh pressure issue), but this is still pretty decent.Still, for the price, I'm pretty happy with this thing, like I have been for all my LS purchases! The only other stool that i would put in the same category as this one is the Gator one that is over twice as much money.

I just want to say THANKS!
Wow, nothing has put me back in love with playing the guitar for hours and hours, and playing it well, more than this perfect guitar seat! I have a back that will not complain but rather scream bloody murder if I sit in any non-supportive chair. Rarely does my back say "ah..." re: any chair, it's gotta be a really good one or I'd rather stand up or go lie down somewhere. But this guitar chair gets my back's "ah...." not just for a minute, but for hours and hours. And my neck and arms, my whole body is happy to be holding on to my guitar and playing all day, but the second coolest thing about this guitar throne is that I can see the neck on my guitar while playing, I can think about and I'm noticing quickly learn where the notes are and memorize new chords accros the neck because "while on my throne" my feet are in the foot rest and my seat is adjusted so my knees come up a bit, supporting the guitar and allowing me to tilt it with ease, using my knees, not my left arm and hand, so I'm finally consistently visually involved with my the visual graphic logic coming from my fretboard to my eyes without any physical contortion going on, it's a whole new world for this player. Portable? Yep, took it to my first gig last night, I don't have a case for it, yet, but just popping off the seat and closing the rest made it a whole lot easiser to load and carry then a bar stool (what I was attempting to use before) and it's super light in weight in contrast to it's perfect stability on the ground and for the body. All I need now is to figure out what kind of case to get for it, especialy to protect the seat and back rests in transport.Yeah, Liquid Stands, all I wanna say is THANKS!

Nice musician chair but requires tall user
Very nice musician chair (not a drum throne though...). Not light but not too heavy to be portable (folds well enough). However, it did not work for us. The seat is super firm and supportive for good playing posture, but you can't 'relax' in it either. How/where to sit on the seat is very dedicated, so if this does not match your body type/size, it doesn't flex. Each other element adjusts (seat, footrest and back height, back depth), but not enough unless you are tall! Both male and female users of short-ish to average height found they needed the lowest setting but it still wasn't as low or as flexible (for sitting and leg positions) as needed. It is rather nice if you are tall.
