Good OEM quality replacement but can be tricky to get tension correct
Watch a few online videos to get an idea about how to install these cords. The challenge is that not all chairs have the same number of welded loops, so you may need more or less tension since these replacement cords are precut to a fixed length. What worked best for me was to tackle one side at a time and to pull the cord tightly enough that it was stretched almost fully. Don’t worry if this pulls the fabric too far to this side. The fabric won’t be centered until you have replaced both sides with new cord.I snipped the very bottom end of the old cord but did NOT remove it. Instead, I folded the new cord in half to find the middle, centered that on the first loop, and then unlaced one loop at a time of the old cord. That provided a visual guide for how to thread the new cord so its routing perfectly matched the old one.As I reached the last few loops, it would become clear that I had too much or too little cord length left. If there wasn’t enough cord length remaining, I went back to the lowest loop and tightened each of the cords more snuggly thru every loop. If too much length remained, I would loosen the tension starting with the bottom loop until the length was optimal. This is the only way that I could figure out how to find the optimal tension for my chairs. I completed restringing of four chairs with two different designs earlier this summer using this method. All four are comfortable, the fabric is centered, and the chairs look like new. Good luck!

TOO SHORT, and thinner than Universal cords I've bought previously!
TOO SHORT!!!My advice: keep scrolling for another brand, and don't take your chances on this one. I've got another on order, and I'm not going to waste my time with trying these even on the top. It looks ridiculous!First of all, this is not my first time to replace my chair cords. I have two standard $50 Zero Gravity chairs: one from Amazon and one from Target (nothing special, and quite simply put, they are the plain Jane model of "universal" ZERO GRAVITY CHAIRS.I have ordered cords before, and even in their end of life state (fully stretched and laced) they are more robust than these "universal" replacement cords, so much so that they look different on the chair (my daughter came over and asked if I got new cord at Dollar Tree...uh hem).I told her to look closer as the cord is TOO SHORT (could not get to the last 2 holes. Ugh! I do use a method I picked up from a YouTuber. By using zip cords to hold the fabric in place it makes the job easier (less frustrating), while helping to maintain consistent spacing. Even though all precautions were taken, I am unable to thread those last holes. I even sat in it for 2 weeks to allow some stretch, and see if that helped - NOPE!!!Very disappointed. I wish Amazon would do more QC for sellers like this. Unfortunately I bought these before needed and missed the return window.

Too short, do not buy!
The long cords are too short. I compared them with the ones that I took out - they are about 20% shorter than they should be. Had to use both short AND long cords for the bottom part of the chair. By no means these cords are universal!

little bit tight
the cords stretch a little during installation.. the length could have been a bit longer but I was able to tightly pull every bit of cord into each opening on the seat ..took some effort and a couple of times going back and pulling it tighter to make it reach the end..took about 10 minutes for the 1st side about 5 to do the opposite side after seeing how much it needed to be stretched..I would buy again before tossing the chair

Does not hold up
Bought these replacement cords for the zero gravity chair and 5 months later has broken in 2 places, they were shorter then the original ones but made them work.Move on to another brand, these are not good

It is working fine!
Once I figured out the pattern, it was quick and easy! And I'm an old lady in her 70's! If I can do it, most anyone can, I'd think! I was actually going to junk this one and buy a new one ...... Until I saw the price!

Too Short.
The long was way too short. Was difficult to install trying to reach the end where it should have reached. Had to cut it to get it off. Big disappointments. Buy the cord at Lowe’s or Home Depot by the foot.

Strong cords for zero gravity chairs
These cords are durable and are heavy duty. They're not quite the right size for our zero gravity lounge, but their quality is exactly what we're looking for in a longer size. They are easy to install and would be ideal for anyone with smaller size chairs. Well packaged in reusable self-sealing bag.
