inexpensive fuses
they're not ultra high quality plastic but it's a fuse. they are much cheaper than brand name fuses and worked just fine in my car to replace rusty old fuses.

It's a fuse. And, it works!!
It's hard to find 1Amp fuses locally, and they are not inexpensive.Got a pack of 25 for the price of 3 or 4 at the big box store. I do security system wiring with Cat 5-e cable.Unprotected wires can get hot when a fault occurs. I therefor use one Amp fuses on my 12 volt power supply, and they protect well! If you have a need, these work well!
