I bought this for the stinkbugs and ladybugs that keep getting in my house. It works very well for those! I've been happy with the amount of suction. My only complaint is that the description did not mention it has an electric zapper inside, so if the bug gets to the end of the tube (which it will if you have it tilted up, and sometimes even if you have it tilted down) it will zap it. That's not a problem, since I want to flush them down the toilet anyway, but it creates an irritating burning smell. I wish I could turn that part off. I am giving it five stars, however, because it works very well and it's getting rid of my bugs!

We have stinkbugs in our home, and I was constantly grossed out having to kill them with "traditional" methods. This thing allows us to get them without having to touch anything. Sure, the suction could be a bit stronger (it gets weaker as the charge goes down) but even then you can just kind of help scoop them in and put the lid on. When it's charged, it sucks them in pretty well. I no longer yell "Honey, come get the stinkbug in the tub!" but he wouldn't mind if I did because he thinks it's fun to use.

For some reason we have had a lot of stink bugs lately. This thing sucks them into the tube then onto the electric shocker which is a quick and painless death for them. The long tube makes it easy to get hem off the ceiling also. Light and easy to use.

This bug vacuum seems to have good power, and battery stays charged. Clear tube cracked along the bottom right away. Doesn’t tell you but it zaps the bugs it catches... but if you use it for Asian beetles, they will come back to life after being zapped. May have to give them a hot,soapy bubble bath too!

Tissues work better on stink bugs. And it's far more satisfying to crush the bugs enfolded in the tissue. Suck them up with this thingy and you've got the smell of the stink bug all over the room. Trust me--not a desirable outcome. AND this thing doesn't hold a charge worth spit.

Purchased for the purpose of catch and release. Not entirely sure how accurate "catch and release" description may be. I charged it up and tested it on a moth. The moth got electrocuted, burned, and died. I guess my throwing away the slightly smoking wings of a moth count as "catch and release"? Not exactly what I was hoping for. Will see if it works differently on a spider... the the description also says it's supposed to be ok for use on moths.

THIS THING IS AWESOME! It makes me want to find bugs to zap. Stink bugs stink when they're fried but it's still worth not having to trap them and risk them touching me lol.

Love this for the stink bugs! I’m in Michigan and we have millions of them. Very handy and much better than squishing them!
