works for access control just perfect
it is strong ,slim and light. I hardly know i am wearing it. More importantly it works prefect for access control systems. I am using it to unlock my office doors and I and reading it with a particle.io device to unlock my truck doors. It is helping me on my quest to not have to carry any keys in my pocket. I am down to my house and my truck and soon my truck will go away.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
It's clearly says RFID. Well I just got mine and it's not. It just doesn't work. Not even the NFC. Maybe mine is defective. But I'm just sharing my experience. I was really excited to switch both my RFID access cards to this one ring but no such luck. So I decided to write at least my business card info into it Vía NFC. No luck there either. The ring isn't bad looking but it's just not THAT appealing to wear just because.Oh BTW in the official video it says it's waterproof but in the brochure tells you "take it off when showering"

How to use smart cards.
Genuine NXP DESfire EV2. It does work and works great! Pay no attention to the "doesn't work" and "DO NOT BUY" reviews. These folks have no clue what they are talking about. It DOES work, and perfectly. You need to know how to work with NXP DESfire cards! This is not a old tech 125khx prox card. It says DESfire ev2 in the description. If you don't know what that is, then find out before you claim, "doesn't work".I use it daily to open AA Alkaline, battery operated locks.That being said... this ring is light weight and super thin. Way thinner than the ceramic offerings I have seen. And DESfire EV2 8kb is one of the best chips made.

I'm quite satisfied with my CNICK Ring, it has not only powerful technology, but it is also work of art. I replaced my gym's membership card with the Ring and every time I have access people around me are really amazed, that makes me look cool. So far, so good. If my experience with CNICK ring will change I will update my review.

Extremely Limited Usability
Unless you have a powerful NFC reader, this is basically useless. Doesn't work with a phone unless flush against the NFC antenna, doesn't work with any NFC device that runs off of batteries. It looks better than most NFC rings, and that's about all it's good for.

Size is a bit small, not compatible with all high frequency readers
Being completely honest, I ordered the ring twice. The first time I recieved an empty box, got refunded and the second time I recieved it.I went on and gave to to the IT department and the system recognized it.. now some of the readers recognize it and serviced me and some of them I'm still working on them..But in general, the ring works, but to some readers, it is too weak to be recognized while wearing it.. you have to take it off in order for the reader to see it... and some readers did not recognize it at all! Though they work fine with mu ID card.But overall, the ring work.. it is not universal but it works with most readers.Thank youP.S: the ring came a bit thight, consider ordering one size above yours especiall because for some readers you have to take the ring off in order for the reader to recognize it.

Beautiful. But isn’t compatible with all nfc locks
Beautiful ring. Tags will carry information okay. However, for some reason it doesn’t seem to unlock nfc compatible locks. I have a few and other rings that work with those locks so it isn’t the lock. I can’t find information on this particular issue with this ring but I have found that some suppliers do not use all the fields in the standard and this might be the problem.
