Q: How do you attach it tothe shower curtain liner?

This way, it works with any shower liner and they can be quickly be installed & removed without any tools. Q: So if I attach this to my shower curtain liner the weight won't scratch my fiberglass tub when it slides back and forth?

Correct, it will not scratch the surface of your fiberglass tub or any other bathtub type. We considered this factor during the design process and have the weighted end encased in rubber so it will glide over your tub without damage. Q: will this work with acrylic tub (non magnetic?)

All I can say is that I am using it with a quarter round shower base(I think it is made of acrylic) that has a small lip (about 2.5 inches)...It essentially hangs(not magnetic) and rests on the inside of the lip because the curtain rod is slightly outside the perimeter of the base and gravity takes over.. Works well by keeping curtain from drifting inside the base and makes a big positive difference.

Q: Will these work with a claw-foot tub (curved sides, and the curtains have to go all the way around!)

Yes because the magnets don't stick to the tub. They are on either side of the curtain sticking to each other. They simply weigh down the curtain so it doesn't move around as much when showering.
