Doesn’t work
It doesn’t stay on the surface it’s been put on. I had to remove most of it from my windows since it doesn’t stay stuck where it’s placed. Don’t recommend this.

Helps seal my windows
I have a lot of double hung winds that let in a lot of cold air. Until I can actually get new windows, this is an easy and cheap way to help seal air gaps at the top and bottom of my windows. The rooms I used this in are 2-3 degrees warmer - almost 5 degrees more near the window. For the price I am not too concerned about stickiness, plus the windows are shut all winter.

Glue strip is very poor quality
I bought and installed these on my door and a friend's and at first the last couple feet started coming up so I glued it back down and it started coming up again. Now the hole piece one of my doors has completely Come up. I need to buy a replacement weather seal now.

Probably the best thing I have ever purchased from Amazon
My vinyl windows are about 11 years old and they are starting to need some TLC. I noticed that I could hear everything outside and I live in a large neighborhood. I started researching how to make my windows soundproof. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars, I suggest you look at the seals on your windows. When I looked at the seals on the sash of my window they were completely rotted out. I decided to try this. It was so easy!! I did all my windows in one day. All I did was take off the dry rotted seal, which was falling out anyway, clean the sash, wipe with a paper towel to make sure it was dry, cut a strip of this, and stick it on the bottom of the window. Let me tell you, it is so much quieter and I bet it's keeping out dust too. I only did the sash because the sides had that brushed weatherstrip and that looked fine to me. Anyway, if you're curious, I say try it.
