Pack O Game - HUE

This is a great little game that you can fit in your pocket in case of a gaming emergency. The first play through we played the game completely wrong, but still had a lot of fun. After reading the instructions a bit more carefully we realized that you were only allowed to cover one section of colors, and that made the game a lot more fair on future playthroughs. For such a simple game it has great replay value and this will definitely remain in my arsenal for years to come.

Excellent little game where you lay down cards to add to areas of color to score more points. This game is very small and is actually about the size of a pack of gum. I took it to a wedding and played with 4 others who would mostly fit in the light gamer category. They all really enjoyed it and it only took a minute or two to explain the rules. We were able to play several games in the time between the wedding and the bridal party showing up at the reception hall. I do recommend bringing a pen and getting a bit of scrap paper for score keeping.

I was expecting this game to be pretty to look at, and hoped it would be fun to play as well, but this game definitely surprised me when I actually played it! The twist of choosing, and being able to change, how you want to score is really the best part of this game, and makes it wonderful, fun, and surprisingly challenging. I love it most as a 2 player, head-to-head game, but I have enjoyed it with as many as 4 players (just never had a chance to play with 5). The rules are very simple and quick to explain and pick up, although I have found that the scoring can be a little harder for some lighter gamers to grasp on the first play. By the second play though, it becomes a complex struggle to balance building out your colors, hedging bets against your opponents choices, and managing which card is the most valuable for you to keep for scoring. I love this game!

Fun little game. Requires some thinking and math to calculate the winner, but as long as you have a pencil/pen and paper, it's not too difficult.

Easily my favorite game of the original Pack.Easy to explain. Hard to master. And a surprising amount of strategy that may just change your entire game plan on the fly!I especially like that it plays 5, when most of the original Pack games (with the exception of Lie) play 4 or fewer.

This is one of the easier ones to play, I have played it at coffee shops and bars, its casual, quick, but can be challenging. Its a great balance!
