Excellent supportive and warm brace
I wanted a neoprene thumb brace to keep the heat in and to mildly compress the thumb area. People say this brace is hot, it is! But that's exactly what to expect from neoprene. There are other great braces out there that aren't as hot but I love the neoprene at times. As I have arthritis I bought the wrap one figuring its easier to get on. It is. If you size it right the straps are plenty long enough. I bought a large as I was between a medium and large for sizing. It fits great and I can wrap it tighter or wear it loose if wanted. I just bought one for my left hand just now too. Great brace. It does not entirely immobilize the base of the thumb, which I knew. I have other braces for that. This is nice warm support for when I'm not really using my hands but at bed or when relaxing. The thumb support is enough that it makes it more difficult to bend the thumb in, therefore its not a working splint for me. It's a nice relaxing one. Love it

Wrong product delivered twice!
This is a good quality product and I've ordered it three times in the past. It helps keep paralyzed hand open and avoid damage from nails. (Note: it doesn't keep hand "open" by force of strength, but just by something being on the hand somehow helps with that.) They last a long time, but it is time to order a replacement, and I've received the wrong item twice now. First time it was sized for a baby. Second time it was the version with no velcro and large instead of medium. Also it was for the wrong hand. I would like to re-order, but how do I know if I will get the right item?

Functional, comfortable
I was surprised to find this nice, neoprene colorful thumb extender. It is great, & just like the one we got from PT & OT. The only caveat is, my son with Cerebral Palsy can't put it on himself. Other than that, this glove is excellent.

Good support, but hot and hard to fit
I was pleasantly surprised at the support this provides. No complaints as to function. Knocked a couple stars, though, because (a) it gets really hot and sweaty, even when I’m sitting at my desk in my air-conditioned office; and (b) the straps are hard to get right because they’re so short and they don’t have a loop to wrap through like other wrist braces. Could be a phenomenal product with more ventilation and a more user-friendly adjustment setup, but I have to take it off frequently to let my hand breathe/dry, and then it’s a pain to put back on. But it appears to be the only product of its kind on the market (soft thumb support with Velcro instead of pull-on), so I’m glad it exists and I would happily buy again.

Happy with this.
I suffered a "Skier's" or "Gamekeeper's" thumb break recently. Was in a cast for weeks, and then in a hard custom molded cast for a few more weeks. The hard molded cast really was terrible and I quit wearing that well before doctors orders, in favor of a pair of drug-store thumb splints. After enough weeks of wearing those and bearing my thumb to the world and some real usage I still felt the need for a little additional support while I work as a mechanic, ride motorbikes, etc. I saw a bunch of creepy rubber non-rigid supports for thumb. But like I said, those things look creepy and I can imaging stretching a sticky rubber sleeve over my injured hand. So I wanted something "all fabric". Came across this support and ordered the Pull-On version in both size L & XL. My wrist measurement is just under 7 inches, so should put me right in the suggested range for the size L. But I read where others reported ordering a size up, so I did that as well. The Roylan supports arrived quickly and seem well made. I am happy with it for Twenty dollars!.... I looked at the two supports and immediately knew the XL would be too big, did not even try it on. I easily and painlessly slipped my hand and thumb into the size L support and knew immediately I liked it and it would suit my needs. So I returned the XL.I been wearing it and I believe it helps. It is comfortable and the fit is natural. From the pictures of the product I was worried the thumb sticks out "a little too perpendicular to the hand". But in wearing it I do not find that to be an issue. It does get a bit warm and sweaty but that has not been an "issue" for me. I can still get my sweaty hand back into it without trouble even if the neoprene is wetted up. I also like that I could pull this on over top of my mechanic, bicycle, or motorcycle gloves. FWIW when I buy moto, bicycle gloves, or nitrile mechanic gloves I am usually between Medium and Large but typically favor a snug fit and no extra length at the fingertips and go with Medium. I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers thumb pain or needs additional light support/padding and thinks a rubber thumb support is creepy and gonna be sticky.......I am a 43 year old Male, Mechanic by trade for almost thirty years, and do not have slim hands, wrists, or fingers. Hope this helps and you heal up well!PS--I have gotten this thumb support dirty, greasy, and oily during the course of my workday and it washes up quick, well, and easy in the sink with some hot water and dish soap. Rinse and then I dry it by rolling it up into a small towel and twisting/pressing. Doing that gets it dry enough to re-install right away and the heat from my body dries out the remaining moisture quickly.

good thumb support
I use while swimming to support weak thumbs due to Basel Arthritis, some state they are small I have large hands, and the XL seem small, but they do stretch out when swimming I prefer the L size that provide the most thumb support

No support and not true to size
I bought this because I have DeQuervain's tendonitis. I wanted something comfortable to wear to bed at night. I purchased a medium size, and it is too small. Further more, it does not provide any support for my thumb what so ever.

Durable
I have had this product for a while... it is so comfortable and gives a lot of support. It can be handwashed, I use dish soap, rinse well, and let it air dry. It retains its shape, color, and support.
