The triple magnets on this key box are great. It fits the key for my ford ranger perfectly. I have it tucked up in the rear bumper and there is no way it is coming out by accident. There is a gasket seal around it that should protect it from any moisture. As long as it is out of the sun and in a spot that it cannot slide off of it should last for quite some time.

Needed this to leave on our car at the airport so our daughter could pick up the car on an incoming flight. Worked great!

Received this and noted a red rubber seal inside. Figured I'd test the seal. Submerged in water for an hour. Not a drop leaked in. The magnets are strong and I'm sure I'll have to Hulk out to yank this box off the underside of my truck. I like knowing this key box will never fall off on it's own. I considered hiding my truck key directly in this box, but found out that chip keys can become "deprogrammed" when stored around strong magnets. Not worth the risk as chip keys are really expensive and you don't want to have to pay to have one reprogrammed.

Returned lesser quality key holders for this upgraded magnetic box. It remains in place and despite some rust on the contact points (winter in New England), my key remains safe inside the box. The magnet is strong and trustworthy.
