Power up.
Does what we bought it for, back up medical devices and cooler in the car. Would buy again. Beware limited power, and recharge time not quick.

A reliable companion when needed
I spend a lot of time car camping for work. This battery block is awesome. It keeps my phone charged, string lights on and in a pinch even powered my air compressor for pumping up my SUV tire after it went flat and I plugged it. I didn’t expect it to have enough power for my air compressor but it did. My previous battery block of the same size was much louder when the fan kicked on. This is quiet and lasts way longer charging my same devices. Its size is smaller than I expected too. I was even able to take it in my backpack on an overnight camping trip.Only thing I’d change about it is to have another USB C port. I get by using the one built in USB C port and plugging a butt with USB C into the outlet.Long story short. This is a great battery block for my needs and I’d highly recommend it.

Works Great
Got this to use for a string of led lights when camping and to keep our router up when power goes out.The unit came 28% charged and charged from a wall outlet to full. Set the charge rate to 100W via the Ecoflow app (great app btw) to lengthen the life of the battery. Took right at 2 hours to fully charge.Tested on our router and PoE dish and it ran both just fine with plenty of run time available.Received the solar charging cable a couple of days later and tested. It's been downright dreary here for the last few days with zero sunlight but managed to get 17W of power from a 100W solar panel, which was enough for the unit to begin charging. It was slow at such limited power, but it *was* charging.Saw a few reviews stating the unit would completely drain of power after a day or two with no use. I have not had that issue. Making sure the unit was completely powered down (not just the display screen) it's sat for several days and not lost a single bit of power. Turned it off with 91% charge and days later still has a 91% charge.

It powers my Geodnet GNSS Station 24/7 with no problems, quickly charges during the daytime
I got the Ecoflow River 2 to power my off-grid Geodnet GNSS Station setup. Im charging it using a Renogy 100 watt High-Efficiency Monocrystalline Solar Panel with a Naponal 10AWG-10ft Advanced Solar to XT60 Charging Cable. The outdoor electrical box that im using to store it safely outdoors in all weather conditions is the Joinfworld 15.7"x11.8"x7.9" Outdoor Electrical Box. The power station quickly charges back to 100% charge during the daylight hours each day and is able to keep running all night without any power outages or issues. My only reasons for rating it 4/5 are because in order to get it to fit inside of the electrical box I need to run it sideways, it would be nice if Ecoflow made a power station that could better fit in outdoor electrical boxes like the Joinfworld 15.7"x11.8"x7.9" Outdoor Electrical Box so that I could put it inside upright. The other reason I took away a star is because in the newer models I noticed that they have expandable battery options, app access, and protection against things like water, fire, falls but those are all new features that came after the Ecoflow River 2. For now though the Ecoflow River 2 still earns a respectable 4/5 rating from me because while it might not have all the fancy stuff of the newer models its still able to perform the job that I need it to do without any issues.

Doesn't come with solar charging cable ****update
We've had this a couple of months. We've pulled it out twice, playing with it to see what we can get out of it. Today I received a solar panel I ordered to see how that sets up and improves our camping experience. I go back to the box where everything gets stored into, low and behold no solar cable. Check before you keep it. I'm sure it's too late for me to exchange. Other than that it works fine for running a fan and charging phones. On low, it'll run a fan for about 5 hours before it needs a chargeUpdate** reached out to seller, they previously mailed the solar charger to me after purchase but nothing on the package indicated what the cord was or was for. Honestly, I don't even remember it having company name printed, so thinking I got it in error I returned it. After reaching out they informed me it Was mentioned cable and are resenting it. So when you get that random box, with a random cord, and don't know what it goes to, It's for your ecoflow. I will also add they we're very quick to reply so I gotta say their customer service is on point. I've recently heard Ecoflow was also the most popular nationally. We will definitely be ordering more of these, but larger wattage, as our business grows. Thanks Ecoflow!!

Just what I needed as a backup
I ordered this battery as a backup power source for a power outage, as well as a power supply when camping or traveling. I changed it fully and began using it to charge my phone, tablet, camera battery and music player in order to drain the battery down fully for its first cycle. It has plenty of power for multiple device charges. I was sitting at 36% when power went out during a thunderstorm. I was able to run a light through it for a couple of hours until the power was restored. I’m glad I had it on hand as an emergency backup. I wanted to buy a small, affordable unit first to see how well it worked instead of going for a much larger unit. I’m comfortable with the Ecoflow unit and would upgrade with peace of mind with Ecoflow for a future purchase.
