Very magical
Played with this for hours, made towers, showed them off to me, then knocked them down to build something else. These are great not only because it's teaching them how to build but the colours also help engage them and they learn how to mix and match colours or make a solid colour which I think is probably good for their brains. They are quite expensive, but the build quality can't be argued as they survive being knocked down constantly.

Great quality but far too expensive for what you get
The first thing that you notice about these building blocks is the shear weight of the package, 2kg for only 42 pieces. This gives some indication of how well made these blocks are. They are very robust and the magnets are strong. The blocks stick together very well side by side, although when at 90 degrees - or some other angle - the magnetic attraction is significantly lessened, although still adequate. This kit really is only an expansion pack as without some more interesting shapes you are restricted to building walls and towers and not much else. At a minimum some additional triangular pieces will be required to start allowing imaginations to flow. The biggest issue with this set is the price, £59 is rather unpalatable working out at almost £1.50 per piece. Additionally it is only really a small expansion pack and you will need other packs with different shapes to build anything interesting, which are even more expensive. If you plan to get into this product range you will need to set aside £150-£200 just to get started which personally I think is far too much.

Oozes Quality, Fun and Creative but Quite Expensive.
Connetix are magnetic tiles that allow you to build fun geometric structures. They come in many different shapes although this set only contains squares of 2 different sizes which is great if it is your first kit as it allows you to get building some cool things straight away! You get 6 large squares and 36 small squares.Connetix have become a fantastic known brand in my house hold and me and my 2 sons regularly get the tiles out and build fun, quirky buildings.Connetix seem to be the Lego of the magnetic tiles world in our eyes… they seem to be a leader in the field of magnetic tiles. Each tile feels chunky, sturdy and while sometimes the tiles don’t flushly go together they ooze quality! This set is a great boost to an existing Connetix collection or ideal as a starter pack for anyone looking to give Connetix a try!You get enough tiles in this set to be able to experiment and mess around building simple structures with a lot of replay-ability.They are expensive but no one can deny the quality of the brand or product!Me and My 8 and 5 year old sons are loving Connetix at the moment and it’s one of our go to toys.As you get more tiles it also makes it more fun as you can build bigger, more imaginative structures!

Expensive!
I really wanted to like this product. The aesthetic of stained glass is one I've an affinity with. So this product, a collection of magnetised colourful translucent squares that can be assembled into patterns and shapes, offered hours of fun and creativity. But sixty quid - SIXTY QUID - for forty-two squares, in two different sizes? Nowhere near enough to be truly cool.Sure, they're sturdy, and yes, the name brand is good. But I feel this pack needed a few other shapes and sizes to make it a truly fun experience. I did build a few rudimentary buildings and patterns, but the price kept poking my brain and intruding on the fun.If you have some Connetix stuff already, this is a welcome pack of more-of-the-same, but it's hardly an entry-level kit.

Unique, robust toy building kit!
There are a whole lot of block-building toys out there in the market but I will say there are very few like this Connectix. The use of magnetics on smooth, curved rainbow-coloured panels makes this an intriguing toy for many ages to quickly, simply and safely explore their creative building skills. The panels feel impressively premium. They are nothing like flimsy plastic panels or rough-edged building blocks. To much satisfaction, every panel feels reinforced with a still smooth, light and purposefully built structure. Every panel has a strong magnetic edging which brings all the fun. I love the way every piece snaps on and snaps off with ease, with the perfect amount of magnetic strength for my toddler cousin to fiddle around and build a panelled structure. On the other hand, with the magnetic strength being more reasonable than being designed to be super strong, I noticed the panels can collapse if it is not supported by the magnetic strength of crossing panels - I guess this comes with the teaching and learning part of building with these squares! This pack does, however, only include 42 pieces. As much as my cousin loved attaching and detaching panels to make some strange cubes, it was nowhere near possible to build the grand structures as advertised. For the premium price, I still feel this pack could have included more than the 6 large square panels and included with it some triangle or other shaped pieces.
