The IFIXIFI spring assemblies were easy to install and worked great. I originally purchased original replacement assemblies for my Norcold RV refrigerator. The springs kept slipping and I had to fix the freezer door multiple times. The Norcold spring assemblies just wouldn’t hold. Although the IFIXIFI parts were triple the price, they are so much more heavy duty and work better than the Norcold parts. I highly recommend the IFIXIFI parts to fix it right the first time.

I purchased both left and right preassembled 3-in-1 spring assemblies for my 2010 Dometic RM2354 Refrigerator freezer. I didn't disassemble to see what had failed until I received the replacement parts. The parts arrived before the expected delivery range. Removing the freezer door was easy in my case after removing one the receiver housings screwed into the door. After disassembly I found one plastic housing holding a spring had failed. I replaced both since the plastic is getting old. The new parts were a good match for the old ones. I could verify the new parts had slightly thicker plastic. They are supposed to be made out of better plastic but I could not verify that. Installation went quickly without any issues. I recommend watching a few videos on disassembly and assembly before getting started.

this company tells you exactly what your getting and how to put them in. Their video shows the exact installation process and is a must watch. My freezer door is like new again. The parts seem much stronger then the originals.

I just got the right and left 3 in 1 hinges/Spring assemblies and installed them and they work GREAT!I used the IFIXFI technique with the suggested adaptations for my very weak wrists and fingers and was able to do it all by myself.After I put in the 3in1 components I protected the inside of the fridge with some duct tape. My thought was it would be much like you do when you protect plaster walls when driving a nail in.Then I used a thin 3” painters spade/putty blade and taped it over the R side hinge which freed up both hands to finesse the door in at the 90 degree angle into the L side hinge.Then I slid the right side of the freezer door down the putty blade which needed some slight pressure but I had better leverage with both hands. Once it looked inline with the R side I checked from the underside that the door was closely lined up with the pin before I gently removed the putty blade. With just a slight jiggle and it POPPED in as soon as the putty blade was removed! Such a satisfying sound!Then I carefully removed the duct tape before I turned the tabs up to vertical and it was all done! MUCH easier than what I expected it to be!I am SO HAPPY! I love the “snap close” and little squeak it makes when opening.

Part well made with easy identifiers so you couldn't mix up left or right. Fits well and gives a good tight fit. The door actually closes itself and stays closed.

I've been dealing with a broken freezer door for almost 1 year and I FINALLY got around to purchasing and installing these. So happy I did!The quality of the material is much better than the original and the Youtube installation videos made installation a piece of cake. This spring clip fit perfectly. Lets see if the plastic lasts more than 2 years. That's all I got out of the Dometic original replacement parts.
