Great Laminator!
Swingline GBC Thermal Laminator Machine, Fusion 7000L ~ I'm not sure why this laminator had so many negative reviews. Maybe the only people leaving reviews were the ones who were frustrated and had a negative experience. I purchased this laminator for $126.37. I received a special price for purchasing a used, but like new product. Despite this... I haven't had any issues. The price for the same laminator on Amazon (new) is $286 at the time of writing this review.I was very impressed with this machine. I purchased based on a few factors. I researched prior to purchase and learned the more rollers the better. This one has six. The laminator warms up in 1 minute. No need to find something else to do while waiting for it to warm up!!! Also, laminating speed was a factor. All these things make the lamination process smooth. As a side note, I purchased another laminator for comparison... it was cheaper and I wanted to see if you could get the same results from a cheaper model. Warm up time for my comparison laminator was 4 minutes. So, you have to find something to do while you wait. Then, when I was laminating, the slot available to feed the sheet was exactly the same and therefore there was no room for error. In other words, on the Swingline GBC, you have 12 inches, but the comparison laminator, only had 9. I used the Swingline GBC first, since it arrived first. It was awesome. I was able to complete all my project in very little time. When the comparison laminator arrived, I tested it. Basically, the problem I had was that the sheets that come with both laminators are the size for printer paper, which is what I wanted and need, but when I put it through the comparison laminator, it was exactly the slot size, and if there was the slightest angle in entering the pouch, then the laminator sheet would go off to the side and I feared that it would crinkle or jam or even just give a poor job. Luckily, even though one of my sheets badly veered to the side on the comparison laminator, it didn't wreck the lamination job. Still, I feel it is possible and could happen. I watched a video on the comparison laminator and there were errors with it, over time. I feel overall, the Swingline GBC will be better for me, because I won't have to be so very careful about lining the pouch up with very little error. The margin for error is so very small on the comparison laminator, which was a nine inch, versus the Swingline GBC 12 inch. So, the size option actually helps. Even though I may only laminate printer paper size, I like the bigger size laminator to give me the room for error. I feel it will virtually eliminate mistakes/jams. I prefer a margin of error. Also, another comparison that I really liked with the Swingline GBC vs. the comparison laminator was the speed. The comparison model was slower. I wouldn't mind it being slow (as much) if the warm up time was faster on the comparison model. The Swingline GBC was 1 minute warm up time and the comparison model was four minutes. The comparison laminator was smaller. So, that part I did like. The Swingline GBC is quite large. Also, for some reason on the comparison laminator, when I laminated a sheet of paper that had been folded the sheet came out laminated, but still bent and not completely straight where the paper had been folded.

Impossible to remove jams
I was so excited with this pruchase. At first I thought it would save so much time, and at first the pages were coming out without wrinkles. Everything was great unil it jammed. Because of the size of the machine, it is hard to tell that there is a problem until it is almost all the way in. Then the reverse button doesn't do anything. After an hour of he-man strength, the jam was freed. Next paper was fine, thought it was a fluke then it jammed again. At this price point I exchanged it. The next machine jammed out of the box, so I am returning it for a refund. If it worked without eating pages it would be fantastic. I am trying the older model in hopes that it works better.

Love this machine
My goodness this machine has saved me time and energy. I was cold laminating, but no longer!! It was worth the money compared to the cheap ones. I tried 3 cheaper ones and they were crap - chewed up my documents, didn't laminate smoothly and ultimately, cost me money because I didn't have orders ready in time. I'm so thankful I found this machine!

Great upgrade
This laminator replaces our old GBC laminator that served us well for years. We are pleased with how quickly it heads and ease of operation.

Super easy to use, Buy this one!
I received the Swingline GBC Laminator Fusion 7000L today. It is a heavy unit. It seems to be a quality made product. I couldn't understand the minimal instructions so I just tuned it on. Seconds later it indicated it had warmed up. I placed my document in a pouch and fed it in. It is super quick. The finished product was beyond my expectations. It is what I had hoped for and it delivered. I whole heartedly recommend this product. P.S. I did receive a damaged laminator that Amazon replaced within 2 days.

Paper Jams Like Crazy
Bought the first 6000L version but didn't like how it overheated documents on auto detection so I returned and got the 7000L version and every other document got jammed. Returning as I am not able to get the document that's jammed in there currently. Terrible products. So disappointing for its price. As a small business owner, it has been so hard finding a good laminator worth the money!!

Simple to use
Have only had the unit a week or two and used it a few times. I find that it runs faster when you manually select the laminate's thickness versus using the "Auto" feature. Output is flat and secure. Happy with the results.
