Great cooler, poor instruction manual
So, yes, it works and works well. Compared to the Noctua NH-L9x65, I am getting much better idle temps - due to, I assume, more mass and a larger fan. However, the mounting instructions are poor - the short bars and long bars for AM4/AM5 are to allow 90 degree rotations of the cooler to ensure motherboard compatibility, in terms of RAM and VRM heatsink clearances. I can confirm it fits well on the ASUS ROG Strix B650E-I Mini ITX Motherboard in a Fractal Ridge case, if that helps anybody.

Runs flawlessly
I just assembled a gaming PC in an ITX case Fractal Design Ridge and the cooler fits perfectly and paired with R7 7800x3d runs flawlessly, no problems with the RAM modules either.100% recommended.

Some serious flaws
My first unit was defective - the threads for the fan to screw into were missing (they were just holes) so I couldn't attach it.The second unit was fine but had some rough manufacturing on the metal.Neither unit came with any instructions which was very disappointing. It's not rocket science to install but it certainly would have benefited with some clear instructions. It does perform well and cools my 5800x to around 65 degrees under load while maintaining a good noise level, but I'd definitely opt to avoid ID-Cooling in the future when selecting my next cooler.

Looks nice, poorly made, retainkng screw snapped while tightening it down.
Doesn't come with instructions, though there are some youtube tutorials for it.Cooler itself seemed ok at first and did come with parts to fit various positions on AM5, however unfortunately I can't comment on its performance, as one of the retaining screws snapped off while I was tightening it down, rendering the whole thing useless.Decent design and good looks, let down by shoddy build quality rendering it not fit for purpose.
