No the 6x6 inch won’t take a 6x12 picture. Select the 6x12 option for a 6x12 picture. These frames are floater frames for canvas pictures.

Hi, yes it believe it to be plastic, I have purchased them in different sizes and the look is good, I have sold some of my paintings with this style of open back frames. Hope this helps

If your canvas is 20x24 then buy the floater frame for a 20x24. I like these floater frames. I use E6000 glue (make a thin line) in the center of the edges where the canvas fits. Easy way to mount the canvas. Then put your wire on to hang.

Q: Does the opening fit a 8x8 canvas?

I bought a 24x24. It could do 8x8 if they offer the option
