Ideally, the honeycomb shape is colored and non-reflective silver like specular light fixtures. However, this one is black. And you lose a good 50% of the light.

Prefect. Reduced all the glare from my new MR 16 bright bulb and softened the lighting effect on my painting…highly recommend. It’s always a challenge to figure out how to attach it too. I wish Amazon would carry the mr16 filter clip on accessories. I had to find it on eBay.

This was stuffed in a box with some newspaper around it. One of them was slightly crushed. Overall, seemed like a really cheap product - did not seem to do that much either to help reduce the glare, but I may have too harsh a situation.

These don't just snap onto the lens of the lighting fixture. Do they need a gasket and clip assembly, or something else? Or does the lighting fixture need to be disassembled and the louver go inside the fixture somewhere? Any guidance would be appreciated.

noticeable difference!i trimmed the edges slightly with a utility knife and added a drop of epoxy to attach it to the fixture. a bit spendy for what they are but they make our uplights much less noticeable / obnoxious.

I needed something to cut down glare on side viewing. These work perfectly, helping make it so you see the effect not the source. You do need a means to attach them though.

I was skeptical at first regarding how well these would work but they truly take a blinding runway light down to a reasonable level. If you have glare issues like I did on my front walkway then this is exactly what you need. Will be buying again
