Not sure about all those negative reviews. These were packaged well and includes everything you need but the dirt and plant. The clear plastic portion is nice and thick and just a bit flexible, not thin hard plastic like some reviews mentioned. The inside white pot is a nice thick flexible pot also. Bottom watering rope pieces are sized perfectly and substantial. Also, the plant hanger hooks fit perfectly in the colored pot piece, and they cause no issues with the white pots fitting in. It's easy to put together and looks soooo cute when built. Can't wait to put some plants in them and hang-em up! They are really great hanging planters. The hangers are not Super long but are normal for an inside small hanging pot.

These planters are not only functional but also stylish, and they've added a touch of greenery to my kitchen that I absolutely love.First and foremost, their 4.5-inch size is perfect for smaller plants. I used them above my kitchen island where pots and pans usually hang, and the contrast of lush green plant adds refreshing touch to the kitchen decor instead of the metal pots and pans.What I appreciate most about these planters is their drainage feature. It takes the guesswork out of plant care, ensuring that my plants stay hydrated without the risk of overwatering. It's incredibly easy to take the plant out of the holder and use the actual pot with drainage holes. This makes repotting or changing plant arrangements a breeze.However, I'm not entirely sure if these planters are suitable for outdoor use in areas with a lot of weather. The material of the pots are somewhat lightweight, which might make them susceptible to strong winds. For indoor use, though, they are perfect.Assembling them was a piece of cake, and my plants have been thriving ever since they found their new home in these planters. Overall, the 4.5 Inch Self-Watering Hanging Planters have not only elevated the aesthetics of my kitchen but also simplified plant care, making them a win-win addition to any home.

These are the 4.5" set of 3 emerald pots. They are plastic but very light weight which for me is perfect. My trailing african violets will enjoy these when they get bigger.The chain attachment to the pot is easy. Once the white inner pot goes in the chains cannot come out. But you can always lift the white pot out again and then remove the chains if desired.There is no water opening to add more water to the pot. If you use a squirt bottle as I do, water can be added where the chain hooks feed in. Lifting the white pot to water is a pain especially with plants hanging over the edge.The cotton wick will rot (cotton does that) so I will be using nylon cord instead.The soil for self watering pots must be very well draining and allow air to the roots so they don't rot. Be sure to look up a good mix for that.Overall I really like these. They hold a good amount of water (1/2 cup I'd guess). Don't let the water touch the bottom of the white inner pot. Let the wick bring the water up into the soil.

Nice hanging flower pots and the self watering quick system is great. We did have to purchase longer chains for our use though. The chains are definitely shorter than I would have liked.
