Satisfied with them.
I'm no climbing expert, actually I'm a novice. But these were the best ones to buy! Comes with loads of stuff that makes this item the best money could buy!An Allan key comes with it to tighten up the spikes (needed. Not because they slacken off but because having the key is the best thing a company selling climbing spikes could do for a customer). A belt for us novices to learn with. Gloves. Screws. Tree saw. And a clipper, with spare parts. And more. Some sellers seem not to have the customer's best interest or safety at heart by not adding those items in the package as well. I was surely glad to have these items added with my spikes at this really good price!Good leather. The leg adjustment screws are so tight I've had to put oil on them to loosen them to make height adjustments, and that's a good thing. If I'm going to fall it'd be because of my fault not the equipment, the seller made sure of that.Good equipment, good price and good choice on my part. I am happy with my money spent.

Great Tree Climbing Spikes for your inner Spidey
These were used by my son to climb huge cottonwood and birch trees to trim some and fell others. Tying up the laces can take a little time but use up all the lace- they are safe and work great.

This product is trashed do not buy
The waist harness is too small couldn’t adjust properly didn’t allow for climbing properly. The nylon strap easily slips off of the tree and the spike boots were difficult to keep on my boots and needed to put on multiple straps compared to just the two that they give you to secure properly, not worth the price, the only positive aspect is that the tree spikes Themselves were very sharp, although made of aluminum

Fantastic!
Got the el cheapo ones and they were horrible after 10m of use. So much pressure on lower legs. My kid helps trim my palms and these are so much better. Quality is good. Similar look and fit to the expensive ones. Pressure is distributed up higher on the calf and spread out nice. The steel is sturdy and really as long as the weld arent bird crap, which these arent, cleats will never see loads high enough to break.

Don’t waste your money
Definitely cheaply made, my husband could not use them, the way they are made hurt his legs. Not worth the money.

It's excellent but I'm scared of heights
I got up halfway up the palm tree and never trying it again. Not for me. Worked excellent all the way to the half point
